Hi,
I'm Emma and this is your new moon intention setting meditation.
To begin today,
Start by finding your place of comfort.
Whether that being laying down or seated with a cushion underneath your sit bones.
Just trying to find a place that you can comfortably be for the next 10 minutes or so.
With as little movement as possible.
When you're in that place of comfort,
Just coming to take a deep breath in.
Filling the belly and expanding through the chest and opening the mouth,
Exhale,
Sighing it out.
Taking a few natural breaths in and out.
Allowing the body to relax into the moment.
And the mind to clear thoughts wandering in and out.
The body to release any last minutes of tension it is holding onto.
Until you fully arrive here and meet yourself in the moment.
That is what a new moon is all about.
It's the time to meet yourself.
To take all of that outward energy and draw it deep within.
For when we are able to offer this energy inward,
We create space for our true intentions to take place.
And as they rise to the surface,
We can honour the new moon's new beginning energy.
In this moment of stillness,
We can cultivate that true heart desire.
Set our intention into the world and allow it to manifest.
So beginning the practice,
Just coming to place your hand onto the heart space.
You can either place one hand here or two overlapping.
Draw a deep inhale in.
And hold at the top of the inhale.
Just begin to feel into that heart space.
When you hold the breath,
Feeling that pump of the heart within you.
And then exhale releasing it all out.
Carrying on like this.
Inhaling to the very top of your breath.
Pausing there for a moment.
Feeling the vibrations of your heart space.
And then exhaling releasing.
One more time here.
Deep inhale in.
Feel the chest rise and rise.
And then pause.
Listening within.
Feeling the sensations.
Exhale releasing.
You can keep your hand here and stay with this breath if you feel cool too.
And just spending a couple of moments listening to that heart intuition.
Creating space for whatever wants to rise in this moment.
And honouring your heart's calling.
As you find stillness in this moment.
And begin to offer some affirmations for your intentions.
I intend to listen to that calling within.
I intend to honour my heart's desire.
I intend to trust in my path.
I intend to step into what I truly want.
I intend to embrace all that I manifest.
I intend to trust in the magic of new beginnings.
Staying in this stillness for a little while longer.
Noticing how those affirmations feel within your physical body.
And I invite you now to find a little bit of movement in the fingertips.
And if you can,
Reach for your journal and your pen.
And write your intentions onto paper.
