Sit comfortably.
Make sure your back is straight.
Drop your shoulders.
If you wish,
Close your eyes.
Otherwise simply soften your gaze.
Take a deep breath in,
Pause for a while with your lungs full and then release the air.
Repeat two more times on your own.
Picture yourself on the edge of a boat.
You have just put on a wetsuit,
Goggles and a snorkel and you're ready to dive into the Indian Ocean.
Once you're in the water,
You're pleasantly surprised by how warm it is.
As you go down,
Your ears pop because of the difference in pressure.
As you watch how your own bubbles are floating around,
You notice how the tension leaves your body.
Breathe in and feel how the excitement to explore the hidden treasures of the ocean is building up.
You look up and see a silver lining above you.
As you're still close to the surface,
You realize that the sunlight is reflected on a large school of fish.
They pass by in a relaxed manner.
You try to count the fish.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Suddenly you see an array of colors,
Purple,
Pink,
Orange and white.
Wow,
They must be the corals.
They look magnificent.
You're careful not to touch the fragile substance and swim at a slow pace while admiring their beauty.
Lots of tiny yellow fish appear from the nooks and crannies of these colorful clusters.
It seems to you that the striped fish and the corals are waltzing together in a perfect symphony.
Your attention is drawn to a spiny sea squirt.
It looks beautiful,
But you're aware that you have to stay away from its sharp spines.
You feel relief as this creature passes by quickly.
Look to the left now.
You catch sight of a sun controller and decide to get closer.
Grab hold of its old will.
It feels very rough.
When you try to turn it,
You feel its resistance.
After a while you give up and move on to see what is hiding underneath.
The keys of a rusty accordion are hiding behind one of the seeds.
The fishermen must have used it to entertain themselves on the long,
Tedious voyages.
Run your fingers along the edge of the boat.
It is covered with green moss,
Which is soft and slimy.
Suddenly you see a butterfish tangled up in a plastic bag.
It looks at your eyes and for a moment you think it's crying for help.
How can you help it?
Quickly you manage to grab the end of the bag and free the sea creature from the man-made plastic trap.
The fish darts off and you feel a sense of fulfillment.
And now let's go back to your breath.
Inhale slowly,
Hold it and then release.
Do it two more times.
Move your fingers and toes to wake up your body.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes if you have them closed.
Continue your day carrying this sense of fulfillment.
