Today we have a very special guest meditator,
Caroline Cross.
She's coming to us from Australia and her message today is ebb and flow.
Caroline,

Well,
Thank you Ruth for having me.
I really enjoy being with Enlightened World Network and with you and I look forward to today and always.
Thank you.
All right,
I'm going to get out of your way.
Okay.
So hi everyone.
Today we're going to step into the gentle yet powerful ebb and flow of the ocean to release any negativity,
Stress or tension that you may be holding within and to allow the healing and transformative power of change to happen.
The water elementals,
The sprites and the divas will be assisting us today to remove any negative energy and as that energy flows out,
It expands and allows space for gratitude and love and to nurture us and Mother Earth.
Just a little note,
The water elementals can be found in any waterway,
The ocean,
The rivers,
Even puddles and when you turn your tap on at home.
There are always water elementals,
Sprites and divas there and the element of water represents our soul.
So just make yourself comfortable and gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and allow your lungs to fill with fresh soothing air.
As you exhale,
You can feel the rhythmic rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.
Just breathing in and out.
You find yourself standing on the water's edge at your favorite beach.
The sand beneath your feet is grounding you while the sun warms your skin.
With each in-breath,
You feel the water's energy flow in and out.
You're aware of the tide rolling in,
Bringing with it a sense of calm and relaxation.
And as you exhale,
You can release tension or stress and allow it to be carried away by the receding waves.
Take another deep breath in and then breathe out all the old stale air.
And as we do that,
Allow your awareness to shift to the sounds of the ocean.
The gentle sound of the waves as they ebb and flow.
The stillness between the waves and the distant calls of the seagulls.
Just let these sounds wash over you.
Grains of warm sand gently massage your bare feet and shells sparkle in the sunshine.
As you stand at the water's edge,
Feel the waves glide smoothly towards you,
Gently sweeping around your feet and watch as they flow out to be welcomed back into the vast ocean.
The cool water feels soft and comforting as you enjoy a few moments gazing out towards the far reaching horizon.
Overhead,
Seagulls gracefully soar high above the ocean and you can hear their soft cries as they glide away.
The rhythmic and circular motion of the waves washing up against the shore is peaceful and relaxing.
And as you walk along the shore,
You notice a mound of pure white sand and you decide to stop for a rest.
You watch as the waves break against the coast,
Rising slowly upward along the beach,
Leaving an area of white foam.
Then slowly the waves retreat,
Only to be replaced by another one,
Washing up against the shore,
Working its way up the beach,
Then slowly retreating back out to the vast ocean.
The sound of the waves,
The smell and taste of the sea,
The cries of the seagulls and the warmth of the sunshine against your body all these sights,
Sounds and smells leave you feeling calm,
Refreshed and relaxed.
You take several long slow deep breaths,
Just to let all your thoughts float away and then bring your attention to your breathing in and out.
Now I want you to take a few moments to mentally scan your body.
Notice any areas of stress and tension there.
Breathe in and as the wave glides towards you,
Allow the wave to gently sweep up all the stress and negativity that you no longer need and then as you breathe out,
The wave slowly washes it away.
Allow the gentle yet powerful ebb and flow of the wave to release any negativity,
Stress or tension that you may have been holding on to perhaps unknowingly and allow the healing and transformative power of change to happen.
The water elementals are helping to sweep away all that you no longer need with each wave that washes in and out.
Breathing in and out.
Breathing in and out.
Ebb and flow.
In and out.
Take your time and allow your physical body and your inner self to feel cleansed and refreshed.
The power of the water is immense and yet it can be so gentle.
Breathing in and out.
Ebb and flow.
By letting go of your tension and stress,
You can look at your life and the world around you with new eyes.
Just let go.
You no longer need that stress,
Negativity or tension.
Allow the waves to wash them away.
You feel relaxed in your mind and your body is starting to feel free and light.
Your mind begins to drift,
Carried away by this intoxicating feeling of peace and tranquility.
Time slows to a halt.
As you take a big breath in,
You open your eyes and you realize that time has passed by almost unnoticed.
And the sky is growing lighter and brighter with the new dawn.
You look as peaceful waves break some distance away from the shore.
Their white peaks rise in a line in the water and then flow washing gently onto the sand.
The waves are very calming.
They are so peaceful and rhythmic.
They are flowing like your breath.
In and out.
In and out.
You continue to observe the rhythm of the peaceful waves.
Flowing in time with the rhythm of your breath.
A cool and gentle breeze is pressing lightly against your back.
You feel like you could stay here forever.
Everything around you seems to be waking up,
Ready for a new and beautiful day.
It has been renewed just like you have.
So today we called on the water elementals,
The sprites and the deities,
To assist us to remove any negative energy,
Stress or problems that we may have been holding within our body.
And as this energy was transformed,
It allowed us to change our thoughts and perceptions,
Making way for gratitude,
Peace and love.
When we will work with and tune into the energy of the elementals,
We can create harmony and balance,
As well as making space for all of the things that we love and appreciate.
For all of the things that we love and appreciate.
For when we are in harmony,
Things flow just like the waves.
They ebb and they flow to the rhythm,
The rhythm of love.
The rhythm of recognizing who we are.
For now,
You can feel more at peace and ready to take the next steps on your journey in this lifetime.
So take a moment to thank the water elementals,
The divas and the sprites,
And all of your spiritual team for accompanying you today in this meditation.
Take out into your day the feeling of peace and calm that you had during the meditation,
Knowing that you can come back here at any time.
But now it's time for us to come back to the here and the now.
So just gently wriggle your fingers,
Your toes,
Perhaps shrug your shoulders a little bit.
Take a deep breath in,
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.

At the beginning of the meditation,
You said the water as your soul,
And then at the end,
The ebb and flow to the rhythm of love.
And this whole meditation was like poetry in motion.
It was absolutely beautiful.

I just really loved it.
So when I was growing up,
We spent a lot of our time,
Especially holidays and things like that,
At the beach.
And so I just really love the water.
I especially love the beach,
The ocean and the sand.
But even just going to some still water or lake or something like that,
I've always been able to feel the energy of the water,
Even before I knew about the elementals.
And so,
You know,
Any time that I can go and just sit by the water is time that I cherish,
Because I feel that I can understand the energy in the water and I can understand the water.
And even if I'm not anywhere near the water,
I'm aware of that energy.
And I know sometimes I might be washing the dishes or something and I'll look into the dishwater with the bubbles and things.
And,
You know,
I visualize the fairies and the water divas and everybody being in there.
And so I think when we start acknowledging and recognizing more and more,
Not only of the elementals,
But of nature,
Because we just live in a beautiful world.
And as we experience that more and more,
Then it can change the way we look at life.
And it can change because as we change within,
Then that energy goes out into our aura and out into all around us and it affects the people that we come into contact with.
And so,
You know,
That doesn't mean you're like that 24-7 because we're here for a human experience.
But if we can blend that in with our human experience,
Then I think that we are really blessed to be able to live here and to do these things.
We don't have to let everything that's around us drag us down.
You know,
If we're feeling down,
We can go and sit outside near a pot plant or talk to a tree or look in the water and just use your imagination.
I mean,
That's what the old-fashioned scrying was all about,
Looking in the water to see what you could see when they didn't have crystal balls.
And so,
You know,
I'm very lucky.
I have a very vivid imagination when I let it out.
And I think that we all need to do things like that at some time.
You know,
I can't make anyone do it,
But I know it works for me.
Well,
And you're just coming into your spring time,
And so you'll be able to be getting outside and enjoying nature,
Waking up after the winter.
So lovely.
One of the interesting things I found when I came to Canada about five years ago for Christmas,
I love the energy of the snow because I'd never experienced powder snow because we don't have powder snow in Australia.
And to be in the powder snow,
Like,
Yes,
It has its negatives.
Everything has a negative.
That's how we manage.
We're a positive and a negative.
But I found the energy of the snow was beautiful as well.
So I think it really comes back to sometimes we need to step into that place in our mind but we can't be there all the time.
But if we can be there sometimes,
Then that's a blessing.
