We begin this guided visualization by imagining we are floating on a boat by a beautiful lakeside. The sky is orange with hints of purple and red. It's a picturesque evening. As we float effortlessly on the lake we practice gratitude by appreciating everything we have to be grateful for within our lives. The track is accompanied by gentle water sounds breaking on a lakeside and harmonious music that will allow you to fully relax and let go. this is your time to unwind.
Hello and welcome to this guided visualization session please find a comfortable place in which you can be seated for this session please begin by closing your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth i'd like you to imagine that you're on a boat floating across a lake there are oars attached to this boat no engine so you are paddling the boat on your own the lake is completely flat it's the evening time so there's a low sun the water looks orange with the reflection of the sun the sky looks orange with hints of purple and red it's a picturesque evening and you're making the most of every moment the boat you're on is perfectly designed almost like a bed so you decide to lie down on the boat and just float in the middle of the lake and look at the colors of the evening sky spend a minute just focusing on the colors the oranges the reds and the purples so you continue floating across the lake and sit up notice that there's a family of ducks swimming beside your boat you had brought some bread with you just in case this happened so you break the bread up into small pieces and start sharing the bread out evenly to the family of ducks you watch as they eat the bread and they dive their heads underwater to give themselves a wash where some of the crumbs had fallen on their head some of them are fighting between individual pieces some of them are actually splashing quite vigorously and the water ends up hitting the boat you just watch them for some time as they go about their business and you feel grateful for this moment you are floating across a lake in the evening feeding a family of ducks watching the sun slowly get smaller and smaller as it starts to go down below the horizon and you continue watching the sun for some time as it slowly begins to set so the sun eventually goes over the horizon and you are floating in the lake still there's still some light in the sky where it's not quite night time yet and the ducks are moving their way into the reeds getting ready for a night's sleep and some dragonflies begin to appear over the lake as the evening draws to a close there are different color dragonflies greens reds blues they're all dancing around and playing with one another they really do act like dragons in their movement so spontaneous so erratic but so graceful at the same time you can tell why people named them dragonflies just because of the nature of their movement and the strength that they display in their wings you just watch the dragonflies for some time playing around the lake in this moment you feel totally at peace you show gratitude for the spectacle that you're able to witness and you spend some time just appreciating what it means to be alive say thank you for all the things you have in your life the clean drinking water the food on your table the roof over your head your family your friends whatever it may be that you can be grateful for be grateful for it in this moment be grateful for it in this moment well done hopefully you enjoyed this guided visualization session today and hopefully you found a place of peace and comfort enjoy the rest of your day or evening and once again thank you for being here you
