Welcome to this guided sleep meditation,
Focused on cultivating self love and inner peace.
Prepare yourself for a restful journey into a deep state of relaxation,
Where you can let go of any negative thoughts or judgements,
And embrace the profound love within you.
Before we begin,
Find a comfortable position in your bed,
Allowing your body to feel fully supported,
Close your eyes,
And take a deep breath in,
And exhale slowly,
Releasing any tension from your body.
Repeat this process a few times,
Allowing yourself to fully relax and let go.
Now as you settle into a deep state of relaxation,
I want you to bring your attention to your breath.
Notice the rhythm of your breath,
And how it flows effortlessly through your body.
As you inhale,
Envision love and acceptance entering your being,
Warming your heart with each breath.
And as you exhale,
Envision the release of any pain or self doubt,
Allowing it to dissolve.
Imagine yourself standing in a peaceful,
Serene place,
Surrounded by a glowing light.
This light represents the love that resides within you.
Feel its warmth radiating from your heart,
Filling your entire being with a sense of peace and comfort.
Now bring to mind a beautiful memory,
A moment when you felt a deep sense of love for yourself or for someone else.
Allow that memory to vividly unfold in your mind,
Reliving the emotions and sensations associated with it.
Take a few moments to fully immerse yourself in this memory,
Embracing the love that was present.
As you witness this memory,
Notice the love within you expanding,
Growing brighter and stronger.
See it spreading to every corner of your being,
Illuminating any areas that may have felt neglected or unloved.
Allow this love to heal any wounds or insecurities,
Bringing a deep sense of compassion and acceptance.
This meditation is all about loving those parts of yourself that perhaps you don't love as much as you would like.
Those parts of you deserve love,
And those parts of you that have been neglected for whatever reason,
Now need to shine brightly for you to step into this new level of self-acceptance.
When you can fully love every aspect of your being,
Then that will help you to become something greater and will help you to move forward with confidence and pride.
This journey we walk is a self-love journey,
And when we recognize that,
We can then truly accept ourselves for who we are.
And that self-love will diminish anxiety,
Worry,
Stress,
Self-doubt,
And you'll walk forward with a new persona.
So really shift your focus on those parts of yourself that perhaps you don't like so much,
Whether it's your physical features,
Whether there's an aspect of you which you're unsure about.
Love that part of you rather than hating it,
Because that love will help you understand why you are this way,
Why you feel this way,
Why you look this way.
Sometimes these negative traits are actually unique traits,
And we don't need to look at them with such a negative perspective.
And even if they are parts of yourself that you're not so proud of,
By loving them and accepting them,
We can help move forward.
So just give yourself some time to really reflect on those parts of you that you aren't sure about,
And just love them entirely.
Now I would like you to gently shift your focus to your physical body.
Starting from your toes,
Imagine a soothing warm light enveloping each part of your body,
And as you do so,
I'd like you to silently affirm,
I love and accept my body just as it is.
And as soon as you say that,
Gradually move this light up through your legs,
Releasing the tension and discomfort you may hold,
And continue affirming this love and acceptance for each body part,
All the way up to your torso,
Arms,
Shoulders and your head.
Every time you move up,
Silently affirm,
I love and accept my body just as it is.
As you begin to truly feel that love within you embracing every inch of your body,
I'd like you to take a moment to redirect your attention to your mind.
This is where you can acknowledge any self-judgement or negative thoughts that may arise about yourself.
Picture each negative thought as a cloud passing by in the sky,
Disappearing into the distance.
It's not bad,
It's not evil,
It doesn't need to be judged,
It just needs to be witnessed.
This is the process of self-love,
Accepting that part of you,
Even the negative side.
You can choose then to replace these negative thoughts with a positive affirmation such as,
I deserve love and happiness.
To really try to redirect your attention to these negative thoughts and just witness them,
Accept them,
Love them,
And then say to yourself,
I deserve love and happiness.
The journey of self-love is not an easy one,
Because when we display quote-on-quote negative traits,
We often fall into this cycle of self-hate,
Where we beat ourselves up for thinking that way,
We beat ourselves up for feeling that way,
Or looking a certain way,
Or behaving a certain way.
But you have to remember,
Everything you do is a result of your environment.
You know deep down,
You are not choosing this,
This is just something you're struggling with.
So look at it like it's a struggle,
Not that you're an evil or bad person.
And when you can see that you're just struggling in some way,
Then you can learn to love that child that went through a tough time,
Or that teenager that was told they weren't good enough.
And that love will really help you to move forward.
So allow these positive affirmations to resonate with you,
Knowing that they are true and affirming.
You have innate worthiness of love and self-acceptance within you if you choose to listen to that narrative.
Once again,
Repeat after me,
I deserve love and happiness.
I deserve love and happiness.
I deserve love and happiness.
Give yourself a minute to continue to repeat this affirmation to yourself.
