Hello and welcome to this guided meditation session.

In this session today we're going to be unlocking a part of you that's been buried away for some time.

All of us have a part that's been buried away.

Usually we build up defensive walls around parts of ourself that we're not quite confident with or happy with.

We may have locked them away unconsciously without even realizing.

So what we're going to do today is unlock that part of you to help bring emotions to the surface that need dealing with.

Once we're able to deal with this inner emotion that's been locked away then it will help us move forward towards contentness and fulfillment within our life.

Before we can become the person that we dream to be we have to make sure that we've dealt with ourselves.

Unfortunately moving forward can't take place without lessons from the past,

Without learning about ourselves.

And that's what we're going to do today.

We're going to hopefully unlock a part of ourself that we've forgotten about.

Now whatever emotion comes to you,

I want you to just feel that emotion.

You don't have to allow that emotion to take control of you.

It's just about feeling what that emotion may be and letting that emotion out in a healthy way.

And then going forward you can perhaps contemplate where that feeling came from over the next week,

Over the next month.

And that will help you learn more about yourself.

So first of all I want you to close your eyes and just imagine you're lying in a beautiful field.

And in the field is a building with a wooden door.

It's a stone building that's surrounded by tons of beautiful flowers.

And it just looks very positive and inviting.

The sun is shining on the field and you can see the plantation so vividly around you.

From the grass to the hedgeways,

The trees and the flowers.

This good feeling encourages you to stand up.

You feel a gentle breeze coming from behind you and you feel like you need to follow that breeze.

The wind is heading towards the building with the wooden door.

And for some reason you just feel like this building was built for you.

You're not sure who built it so you walk over and you inspect it.

Things look very familiar.

You look at the way the stone has been put together and the way it's been concreted and the foundations of it.

Come to think of it you recognize even the field that it's in and you've realized that this place in your mind you've been to before.

You take a look at the front door and it says built by me for me.

What does that mean?

Built by me for me.

Contemplate on that phrase for a moment.

You take another look at the door and decide to push it gently.

The door opens and you're slightly hesitant to go in but the breeze picks up again from behind you and encourages you to walk through.

So you swallow that fear and you take a step into the building.

The building's quite small and it's a little bit dusty with some cobwebs but in the middle of the building is a table with a small deposit safe and beside it you see a key.

You walk over to the deposit safe and written on it says the part of me I don't like and I just want you to contemplate on this message for a little while.

You know what you have to do.

So you pick up the key and begin to unlock the safe.

The key fits perfectly and the safe unlocks and you open the small door.

All of a sudden this light bursts out of the safe.

Such a bright colourful spectrum of colour.

It's like a giant rainbow bursting out.

All of a sudden this light penetrates your chest.

You start to feel a tingling sensation in your body all over.

This feels good.

You knew you were missing something but you weren't quite sure what it was.

You're beginning to feel whole.

You're beginning to feel content.

You're feeling amazing in this moment.

Really feel that energy.

You turn around and notice that there's someone standing at the front door.

They're smiling at you and as you sort of squint to look at this person a little closer,

Quickly notice it's you.

All of a sudden that version of you fades away and as that version of you fades away there's a wave.

It's almost as if that was an old version of you and you were waving goodbye to the old you.

Now is your opportunity to be whole.

To really take on you.

The fullest version of you.

All those insecurities you have.

All those reasons to doubt yourself.

All the inner turmoil and self-doubt that you've been holding on to.

Just accept all those feelings and say I'm okay just the way I am.

Repeat after me.

I'm okay just the way I am.

And again I'm okay just the way I am.

You don't have to be perfect.

It's okay to have your flaws and to have a mind that overthinks and to have certain feelings and emotions and have certain aspects of you that you're not quite happy with.

You're a human being.

You don't need to hide that from the world.

Be yourself relentlessly.

You've now unlocked the version of you that's not afraid to show yourself to the world and truly be you no matter what that means.

So now I want you to repeat after me.

I will be myself relentlessly.

And again I will be myself relentlessly.

And again one more time.

I will be myself relentlessly.

Okay take one deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

I want you to gently open your eyes and look around you.

It's okay to be you.

Being myself, having built my own house to suit myself, accepting all of me, the joy and the sadness, not being afraid of letting myself be seen, waving goodbye to the me I work so hard to become, simply loving who I am right now, finally reflecting the me just the way I am so I can connect with the real others and see my reflection in them.
