In this meditation we will be participating in a guided visualization based on the colors of the rainbow to help with the awakening process. I have developed this guided meditation throughout the process of self understanding and want to share this with you today. The idea of the meditation is to help reinvigorate you and help you feel fantastic!

Hello and welcome to this guided meditation session.

In this session today we will be doing a guided visualization that I've developed over time that's worked wonders in my life.

Today we're going to be focusing on the colors of the rainbow.

The idea of this is tapping into the power of our imagination.

When we are able to visualize colors we begin to work the part of the mind which activates your imagination.

When I'm going through a tough time I like to use this visualization to help get me out of the darkness because ultimately I'm visualizing the light.

This has helped me through many rough patches in my life.

I would like you to close your eyes and first of all simply focus on your breathing pattern.

You don't need to take control of it in any way,

Just focus on your natural breath coming in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Great,

Now you feel a little more grounded.

Let's begin the visualization exercise.

I'd like you to continue closing your eyes and please just feel the energy of the wherever you're meditating.

If that's outside then feel the energy of the natural environment.

This energy you feel is the resonance of life.

There is a life force that belongs to every living creature,

Every part of life,

Whether that's the trees,

Whether that's the grass,

Even the sky above you has a life force and you're currently sensing that energy.

As you sense this energy you may begin to feel a tingling sensation going down your spine,

Down into your limbs,

Into your fingertips,

Into your toes.

This tingling sensation is making you feel really good.

You're able to tap into the present moment.

When you tap into this resonant energy your senses are beginning to be heightened.

Notice what you can hear around you.

If you need to take out your earphones for this that's fine.

Continue closing your eyes to this powerful mantra.

What we're going to be doing is repeating the colors of the rainbow.

Red,

Orange,

Yellow,

Green,

Blue,

Indigo,

Violet.

As we repeat these colors I would like you to try and imagine that color in your mind.

This may be difficult at first but the more you practice it the better your imagination will become.

This will only have amazing effects for you in the future.

Imagination will be heightened and this will bring new ideas and new opportunities into your life.

It will also help to lift your mood.

So repeat after me and every time we say each color remember to try and visualize it.

Yellow,

Green,

Blue,

Indigo,

Violet,

Orange,

Yellow,

Green,

Blue,

Indigo,

Violet,

Red,

Orange,

Yellow,

Green,

Blue,

Violet.

That's fantastic.

Well done.

Now let's progress this further.

I would like you to visualize a rainbow in front of you.

Really try and imagine its colors.

Imagine the scene that it's set in whether it's over a meadow or over the ocean.

All this scene to relax you.

Sit in awe and wonder at its magnificence.

The most majestic or inspiring view is in front of you and it's filling you with excitement to give you a moment to just sit there in this wonderful place.

Well done for today.

If you can use this practice as part of your daily routine then you'll notice a major difference in your life.

You'll begin to reap all the positive effects of this visualization practice.

Your anxiety levels may begin to decrease as you feel more optimistic.

You may begin to notice you have more ideas coming to you and because you're changing the way that you look at the world it means you interact with the world differently which means you'll be bringing in more opportunities.

This is the power of visualization.
