In this meditation, we will practice listening to understand instead of listening to respond. Most of us think of listening as something we do for other people. But before we can truly understand someone else, we have to learn how to understand ourselves. Together, we'll slow down and simply listen. We'll notice what our bodies, minds, and hearts have to say, without trying to fix, judge, or change any of it. As we become more familiar with listening to ourselves with curiosity and understanding, we begin to carry that same presence into our conversations and relationships with others.
