Welcome to your forgiving meditation.
Let's get ourselves into a comfortable position.
Either lying down on our backs on the ground or in our bed.
Or sitting down in a cross-legged position.
Putting your hands on your knees if you're sitting or next to you.
If you're lying down,
With your palms facing up.
Let's take a big inhale here through the nose as we close our eyes.
Exhaling through the mouth.
One more time to really cleanse ourselves and fully arrive in this moment.
Exhaling through the mouth.
Exhaling through the mouth.
And as we keep our mouth closed,
We're going to breathe in and out through the nose.
Feeling every sensation that there is in the body at this time.
Knowing that you are safe to feel everything and anything.
Maybe you feel uncomfortable physically,
Mentally or emotionally.
Keep your heart open as you are welcoming this feeling.
Today we're trying to bring everything up to the surface.
Everything that we may have suppressed.
Allowing ourselves to live fully every emotions or sensations.
That we have been wanting to forget.
You can visualize yourself walking into a deep forest of green trees.
The sun is peeking through the leaves and the branches.
The rays are touching the top of your head.
And gentle,
Remember that you are held,
You are the light.
As you walk in the forest,
You touch the trees and smell everything that is around.
It's a smell that reminds you of memories of your childhood.
A smell that is taking you home.
In front of you,
You see yourself.
But much younger,
It is your child self.
You slowly walk to go meet your child.
You take your hands inside hers or his.
This child is looking through your eyes.
Inside your child's eyes,
You see the pain.
You see memories in times where you wish you would have reacted differently.
You see things that have happened to your child that is still present in your reality as an adult.
You maybe feel physically an urge to leave this uncomfort.
Maybe you want to cry and that's okay because you are safe.
But you are brave.
So as you remind yourself of everything that has happened to your child,
You are willing to convert and alchemize.
Because you know that your heart is full of compassion.
We are going to use this compassion for ourselves today.
We are going to take all this pain and memories and we are going to visualize it into a ball of light.
You are going to locate this ball of light containing all of your memories and your hurt.
You are going to locate it somewhere in your physical body.
Maybe it's in your hands,
Your chest,
Your feet.
Locate it somewhere and hold the vision tight.
Once you have located this ball of light in your body,
We are going to expose it.
We are going to free ourselves,
We are going to free our child from all the wounds that have stopped us to live in our full potential as adults.
Truly healing and forgiving ourselves at this time.
So we are now going to visualize at the center of our heart a beautiful green light of love,
Compassion and forgiveness.
We are going to really bring our intention of the breath and with each inhale this green light of the heart is going to expand.
It's going to be expanding so much that it's going to cover your body,
Your upper chest,
Your abdomen.
As you inhale further more,
This light is slowly covering your whole head and shoulders.
Soon covering your hips and your legs all the way to your feet.
You are held in this bubble of light,
Of compassion,
Love and deep,
Deep forgiveness.
You now visualize your child self and as you keep inhaling really deeply,
This ball of light is covering your child self as well.
Feel what it feels like to be free.
You can bring your attention back to that place where the memories and the ball of light were located prior and see if it's still there.
You should be feeling much lighter.
We are going to take a big inhale here through the nose,
Exhaling through the mouth.
Breathe in and out through your nose now and acknowledge what it feels like to be free,
To have forgiven yourself.
Your child is looking right at you and as you still hold its hands,
You see right through your eyes.
You see flowers and lights,
You see sunshine,
You see rainbows.
Your child is thanking you for you have worked to cleanse and liberate the wounds that both of you were holding on to.
A last exchange is made with your child.
Maybe your word is exchanged,
Maybe you cuddle.
Slowly say goodbye,
You turn around and you walk away feeling light,
Feeling brave.
Slowly you are going to bring your hands next to you onto the floor.
You are going to slowly open your eyes and softly gaze in front of you.
