When we are completely engaged with now,
Our being surrenders to the moment at hand,
And we act accordingly to whatever situation arises.
There is no anxiety of the future or entanglement with the past.
We simply surrender to being absolutely involved with now.
We choose life,
And we stop running away from responsibilities.
Our experience of being alive becomes a celebration that we want to be a part of.
Our senses come back to us,
And we suddenly exclaim,
Life is worth living to its full potential.
When there is too much static going on from within us,
It's because of the current way that we're managing ourselves.
But if we practice surrendering and being totally engaged with now,
Then we can take charge of our lives and live them to incredible heights,
To places you haven't even dreamed yet were possible for you,
And so that no matter what life brings you,
You'll have the determination to create goodness from within.
And that is maintaining clear presence and full engagement with the present moment.
Know your silence,
And all will lead to be your transcendence.
Fall into a cross-legged posture with your hands open facing upward.
Maintain a straight back with its natural curves.
With your face slightly upturned,
Allow your focus to rest between the eyebrows.
Then gently close the eyes and mouth.
Come to your inner awareness,
Releasing stress and tension as you invite peace.
Each breath cycle is necessary balance.
Breathe in,
I am fully present.
Breathe out,
I am clear presence.
Breathe in,
I am fully present.
Breathe out,
I am clear presence.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light,
Not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
Who am I to be brilliant,
Gorgeous,
Talented,
Fabulous?
Actually,
Who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us.
It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
That is a quote by Marianne Williamson.
Check in with the body.
Observe any sensations.
Check in with the mind.
There is no need to get swept up by thought.
Stay grounded in the present moment.
Check in with your emotions.
Observe and notice any emotions that may want attention.
Acknowledge them and focus on the power of the breath.
You're observing how it feels to be seated here in clear presence of the moment.
Follow the breath all the way from the entrance of your nostrils down to the belly and then filling out the lungs and chest.
Feel the entire body.
Gently expand and become full of air.
Follow the breath all the way in and all the way out.
Breathe in.
I am fully present.
Breathe out.
I am clear presence.
Breathe in.
I am fully present.
Breathe out.
I am clear presence.
Breathe in.
I am fully present.
Breathe out.
I am clear presence.
Breathe in.
I am fully present.
Breathe out.
I am clear presence.
What you really want can only be cultivated in the environment that you create for yourself.
Take action on being engaged with right now.
The experiential aspect is much more capable of experiencing ecstasy than the heavy activity of the mind or body is.
The separate parts will always be incapable of what the whole can achieve.
The mind is casting its colors across the reality that we all face.
So we must be conscious of the way we choose to see things.
Our body has needs and that is okay and natural.
So we must be aware of the limitations and how to manage the energy that we're given and will spend.
We must integrate the different parts that make us up.
The pure experience of being involved with life can be first contacted through many different ways.
But the one we have the most room to practice is when we take some time to meditate regularly.
One can liberate him or herself through simply giving up the me plan,
Connecting with the source of life and surrendering to one's own inherent powers.
Then a fulfilling life can be experienced.
Practicing clear presence is simply this celebration of intimacy with the present moment.
Breathe in,
I am fully present.
Breathe out,
I am clear presence.
Breathe in,
I am fully aware.
Breathe out,
I am clear awareness.
Breathe in,
I am fully aware.
Breathe out,
I am clear awareness.
Breathe in,
I am fully aware.
Breathe out,
I am clear awareness.
Breathe in,
I am fully aware.
Breathe out,
I am clear awareness.
Breathe in,
I am fully aware.
There is no need to turn this into something to do with time.
Through practice of being absolutely present now,
We expand ourselves and our expression of what it is to be totally human,
Boundlessness or beyond what we currently think we know is where our fingertips want to reach,
Where our toes want to see distance from,
Where our imaginations can take us.
Our expression of this life is completely up to us.
When we learn how to use what we've been given to its full potential,
We can be fully present when we have other things to do as well,
When life tests you,
When shit really hits the fan.
And we must know that anything can happen at any time so we can prepare ourselves in a way that the individual is in full engagement with being present and ready to act regardless of what life brings.
This is a gift and a responsibility.
Breathe in,
I am fully present.
Breathe out,
I am clear presence.
Breathe in,
I am fully present.
Breathe out,
I am clear presence.
Breathe in,
I am fully present.
Breathe out,
I am clear presence.
Breathe in,
I am fully present.
Breathe out,
I am clear presence.
This is a piece entitled Promise Yourself by Christian D.
Larsen.
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health,
Happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them to look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only the best,
To work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry,
Too noble for anger,
Too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world.
Not in loud words,
But great deeds.
To live in faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
Going to breathe in full presence and breathing out clear presence.
In this state we are fully engaged with one thing.
The more that we practice clear presence,
The more that we have the ability to handle what life brings us.
Continue with your engagement even after this meditation closes.
Coming back to a full awareness of the body.
We can take in a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and deep breath out.
Thank you for sharing this meditation practice with me.
Namaste.
