Welcome to the "One-Minute Break series - Take a deep breath." This series will remind you to take a break from your busy day. Breathing deeply is fundamental in overcoming stress and anxiety. Breathing from the belly, engaging the diaphragm, increases our breathing capacity and thus our resistance to stress, and negative thinking patterns. It also regulates our emotions and helps us feel more calm and able to cope with our problems. I suggest you do this every day, several times a day. Namaste.
