Take a moment now and really allow yourself to breathe deep,
Giving yourself this time to relax,
Allowing the beautiful cleansing breath into your body,
And releasing any negativity or tension.
To begin learning self-love,
Call to mind a person who you love so much,
And just imagine you can see them in your mind's eye.
What is it about this person that makes them so loving or lovable?
And as you note to yourself what makes them incredibly loving or lovable,
You let that feeling of love just expand inside you as you appreciate them for these wonderful qualities.
And just allow that loving feeling to get even bigger and brighter inside your heart.
As you breathe deep,
Just allow it to expand,
That loving feeling,
Even one more time getting bigger and brighter inside your heart.
And now,
With that beautiful bright feeling of love in your heart,
I want you to turn your light inward,
And imagine that if you can see these qualities in somebody else,
Then you have them as well,
And you are deserving of love and appreciation as well.
So in whatever way feels best,
Just turn that loving energy,
All that you felt for that other person,
Turn that on yourself now.
And allow your heart to fill to overflowing with joy and love and self-appreciation.
And when you are ready,
Just slowly move your body around and allow yourself to come back into the room,
Bringing with you all of these beautiful,
Loving feelings that you've generated.
Take a deep breath and now come fully back into the room.
Open your eyes,
Aware and awake,
And ready to move on with your day in a loving way.
