Good morning,

Everyone.

Good evening,

Good afternoon,

Wherever you are,

And welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost.

My name is Ellie Sheva,

And I am here today with both David,

Who is here most of the time with me,

But we're excited today to have a special guest with us live from New York.

We have Eitan Yardeni.

Welcome Eitan,

Thank you for joining us.

My pleasure,

Thank you.

I'm pleased to be with you and David today.

We're excited.

We're excited.

We changed things up a little bit today,

And we're focusing on a topic that we realize we never actually address directly.

For those of you that have been listening to the Weekly Energy Boost,

You know that every week we present the most powerful and practical tools to help you navigate the spiritual landscape of the coming week,

The energy,

The process that people feel that they're going through.

And this week,

The energy is really very much about the soul's journey and the process,

And how we can elevate our perspective on that process.

And that's why we decided this week to bring up the topic we've never talked about before,

Which is,

What is Kabbalah?

Why do we come back week after week to share with you principles and concepts that come from this wisdom?

I know for a lot of you who listen,

This is your spiritual dose of consciousness,

Dose of insight for the week,

And that's where it begins and ends.

And so we wanted to provide an opportunity for our listeners to understand what really Kabbalah is,

Where does it come from,

How can it be a part of our practice,

Whether you have a practice already or you're looking to integrate more wisdom and tools into your practice,

Or if you're just curious,

Or if you've been trying to tell someone else what Kabbalah is,

Or help them get started on their journey,

This would be a great episode to listen to.

And so for me,

Whenever I have to talk about this,

I have to broach the what is Kabbalah,

Why is Kabbalah so important to me,

It also helps me reaffirm why I'm doing it,

Why I get up in the morning and continue to do this work and to share this wisdom with the world.

And that's one of the reasons Eitan is the perfect person to share the screen with us today,

To share the microphone,

Because Eitan has been a student of Rav and Karen Berg for more than 30 years.

She is the teacher's teacher.

And I know that he has a way of simplifying and articulating the wisdom in such a way that it reaches,

There could be 400 people in the room and every single one of those 400 people are captured,

Captured,

Is that the right word,

Captivated,

Captivated,

And also really touched,

I call it,

I've made the word Eitan into a verb because he has a way of saying so many examples so quickly that he manages to catch everybody where they're at in that moment.

So I think that that's the starting place is,

When people say to you,

What is Kabbalah,

You're at a party,

Right?

And you're definitely not wearing your teacher hat.

This is one of my exams I give myself every so often at an airport when someone says,

What do you do?

And you have to suddenly explain,

What do we do?

How do you explain when somebody catches you off guard,

Especially,

And you don't know who they are,

What their background is,

Where are they coming from?

How do you answer that question?

I don't know,

David,

Do you want to start or do you want to throw it to Eitan first?

I want to hear Eitan has to say.

I have an answer,

But I want to hear what Eitan has to say.

Listen,

I'm not going to give now the usual answer I would give.

I'll give it within the context of this weekly portion because this weekly energy has to do with our soul journey.

So we all have our journey in this world.

And the journey is very simple,

To activate and to reveal my unlimited unique potential.

That's the journey.

We all have unlimited potential,

Which is unique to us,

Potential to make a difference in the world,

Uniqueness and creativity in the mundane world,

Uniqueness in ways to share and help people,

Uniqueness in finding joy and happiness,

Uniqueness of having my own unique gratitude,

Uniqueness of making a difference in other people's life.

We all have our journey.

And Kabbalah is the teaching and the wisdom that can help me to speed up the process of revealing my true potential.

Because the Kabbalists share the journey of life,

You cannot run away from your potential.

Your potential eventually will reveal itself.

You manifest who you truly are eventually.

The only free will is how long,

How easy,

How difficult it will be.

The whole idea of the teachings of Kabbalah,

Which is tools,

How to handle challenges,

Tools,

How to be more connected to your more elevated way of thinking,

Which is elevated consciousness,

How to deal with feelings,

How to deal with other people,

How to start to express mind over matter.

But all the tools are one to help me to speed up my process,

To reveal my true potential in this world.

And the result means the happiest me.

All right.

So I'll ask- Sign me up,

First of all.

So okay.

So I'm brand new.

I'm listening to this.

It sounds amazing.

Well,

Relative to I think most teachings in the world,

Kabbalah isn't as well known.

They might have heard the word Kabbalah because of celebrities who have done it in the past when it was in its heyday.

But what am I getting differently versus I'm listening to Abraham Hicks,

I'm listening to Tony Robbins,

I'm listening to Eckhart Tolle.

The people who are writing international best-selling books that till today are top 10 on every list.

People are reading these books.

Their lives are changing.

They want more and more of it.

Kabbalah relatively isn't as well known.

Why would that be?

This is the source of the wisdom of everything that you just shared.

I've read all these other books.

Why do I now need to study Kabbalah?

So you're asking me,

David?

Yeah,

Yeah.

It's not a softball question,

Right?

I think one of the things our listeners appreciate is we'll kind of say what's on our mind,

Right?

So these are the things that- Absolutely.

These are what people are thinking about,

Right?

Because their friends will ask them,

Well,

What is Kabbalah?

I've done all these other things.

Why do I need to study Kabbalah?

And how is this different?

How is this more powerful?

How is this going to be better for me?

And that's just the first non-softball question I have for you.

I have several more.

But this is what people are thinking about.

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah,

Absolutely.

First,

We're in the age of Aquarius.

And in the age of Aquarius,

The ancient Kabbalah said the teachings of the soul,

The teachings that will help humanity to raise their consciousness and awareness and connecting to the purpose will be revealed to many,

Many,

Many,

Many vehicles.

Nevertheless,

The teachings of Kabbalah,

What's unique about the teachings of Kabbalah,

I can tell you for myself,

Learning many teachings,

Many wisdom in the last 40 years,

I get that the teaching of Kabbalah in one level is the only teaching that are revealing the deep secrets of our purpose in life include how did it all begin?

What happened before the Big Bang?

Why this even concept of two aspects to each one of us?

We have an ego within us.

We have a powerful soul within us.

Why do we have an ego?

If God is so great and so elevated,

Why to create the world with even an option to choose chaos?

Why just not to live in paradise?

So actually understanding how did it all begin and what's our real purpose as humanity and even more secret,

How does world peace,

Which is the final destinations look like?

And deep secrets about the journey of our soul that the Kabbalah speaks about Tikkun,

Which many teaching speaks about each one of us of our own life lessons,

But the depth that the wisdom and the teaching of Kabbalah gets into how to understand my own unique purpose means what is the specific life lessons I have to correct,

Not just from this lifetime,

From previous lifetime.

So the level of depth,

The level of understanding the purpose,

The level of understanding the unseen world and how it's related to the seen world is the deepest that I ever seen.

And I love that answer because I think a lot of people listen to the podcast that haven't taken maybe the traditional path of studying Kabbalah,

Which is starting with Kabbalah One.

We get it.

We get mail,

Email from all around the world and messages saying,

Hey,

I've been listening to you.

And one of the first questions I asked is,

Oh,

Have you heard Kabbalah One?

And they're like,

No,

What's that?

But we're listening to the podcast.

And I remember once we did a brand study with an outside firm on the people's journey with Kabbalah One and had like a net promoter score of like something that was a can say it was like a 95,

95,

I think out of like a hundred,

Which pretty much means that the people who are experiencing this journey of Kabbalah are having an incredible experience.

And you know,

Eitan's teaching Kabbalah One and all of us are teaching these global classes.

I love asking people,

How did you find Kabbalah One?

How did you find this path?

And almost always the answer is I've tried this,

I've done this,

And I've done all these other things.

And all these other paths actually helped a lot.

But for some reason,

These paths all kind of brought them to Kabbalah.

And I've actually seen something very powerful.

If you have read books from other thought leaders or other authors that are very powerful books,

If you've gone to Tony Robbins' week long workshop or landmark or gosh,

There's so many of them,

I don't even know them off the top of my head.

And then you come experience Kabbalah.

Kabbalah is even more powerful for you than if you had no spiritual background.

So I asked the question,

I said,

Well,

Why is that?

And it's exactly what Eitan said,

Which is,

I'm learning these powerful concepts in very deep ways from different modalities.

And then I take Kamalah 1,

And it kind of all comes together in this beautiful collage and this beautiful painting.

And they have a system.

I think that's also the word that I hear over and over again,

I finally have a system to apply to every facet of my life,

As opposed to maybe just one area or another specific area in my life.

I think I could say something.

No,

I'm here every week.

I'm just thinking as far as in a very simple way,

I would say that as a teacher,

When I'm teaching Kabbalah 1,

Kabbalah 2,

Kabbalah 17,

Whatever it will be,

Why maybe other modalities are very specific?

How can you become more successful in business?

How can you release stress?

How you can have better tools to have better relationship in your life?

Why?

Of course,

I would love people to improve every aspect of their life because the proof is in the pudding.

It has to be actually elevating,

But my intention is not a self-help fix and transformation of one specific area because the way I see that,

So now there are billionaires,

So you don't need the teachings anymore.

My real intention as a teacher is how to help people to connect to really their sole purpose.

Why were they born?

Nothing to do with the issues.

Actually all the issues in my life,

Monetary issue,

Relationship issues,

Physical pain,

Anxiety issues are just hinting me about life lessons that I have,

The physical issues to repair them.

It's not the goal while kabbalistically you will see life transformation and practical transformation in every practical area of business and relationship,

That's not the goal.

So I can tell you that's my intention.

What's your life purpose?

And when every aspect of your life is doing great,

Are you done?

Not at all.

That's unfortunately one of the biggest problems with retiring.

A person thinks,

I'll go to the best school in order to get to the best college,

To get the best job,

To make the most money,

To have the best retirement.

And then what?

You're done?

You start to decline?

Is that your purpose in life?

So in my intention,

It's more about what is your everlasting purpose of life as long as you're in this planet?

And that's the secret.

And that's what I'm excited about.

People who are coming on this path with us are asking the question,

How do I use the classes,

The wisdom and the teachers?

And I'm thinking,

I don't know if Eytan feels comfortable that I'll share,

But Eytan's had experience with,

Be it,

What we call the highest echelon of most successful people in every field of life,

Whether it's Fortune 500 CEOs or executives,

Whether it's celebrities,

Whether it's religious or spiritual leaders.

And one of the things I realized that you do,

That all the teachers are being educated to do,

Is we're not performance coaches in a certain area of someone's life,

Right?

Someone's having a hard time breaking through a fear.

That's not when they call us and say,

You know,

Motivate me or inspire me to break through this one issue,

Even though,

You know,

Kabbalah can help with that.

We look at a person's life holistically.

And yes,

A person's rising through success in one area of life will guide them,

But we're also the bumper lanes,

The spiritual bumper lanes to make sure that as that's happening,

They're dealing with their sole issues,

What we call their tikkun in their marriage,

Or with their children,

Or also preparing them to not fall when they get there.

There's all this preparation.

There's like a left,

Right,

Future and past that a Kabbalah teacher deals with to ensure that whatever level a student reaches,

They can maintain it,

They can keep growing.

And it's totally a holistic,

It's a holistic approach that the Kabbalah Center offers students,

The wisdom offers,

And then the individual teachers,

If you happen to be able to be guided by an individual teacher,

Which I know that we're trying more and more to make that available to students,

That's what a Kabbalah teacher's job is,

Is to look at your life holistically,

Everything from your past life to what potentially can be and to help you in that path.

And I think it's important that we're talking about it.

I realize we never really talk about this.

People don't really know.

We're teaching Kabbalah 1 now and people are meeting,

They get one free session with a teacher,

Which I think is a phenomenal thing that we offer with a senior teacher who has like 20 years of experience.

And they're asking,

Well,

What is this session?

What do I do with this?

How do I interact with the teacher?

And I think we don't have enough education.

We don't talk enough about the power of what it is that we offer and that we give to people.

And our audience now listening should know that we have this incredible suite of services that is so unique,

That is so different than anything else that the world is giving,

And that we're here to take care of you.

I think also it's important to mention that one of the reasons that the wisdom of Kabbalah resonates with people,

And there are people who come,

They take a few courses,

They leave,

Maybe they stay in touch at arm's distance.

Some people,

As David said,

Take on the holistic approach and really use it to elevate every area of their life.

But the truth is that this,

As it comes,

It is one of the most challenging ways to live life.

Right?

It's not simple,

It's not easy,

But the reason it resonates with so many people is that according to Kabbalah,

This is the wisdom that each one of our souls already has within it.

So a lot of people come to take a class and they say,

I can't believe you're saying that.

I've always thought that,

I've always believed that,

But I didn't know how to make it work for me.

I didn't know how to apply it in my marriage.

I didn't know how to apply it in my own growth and self-discipline.

And for me,

That was one of the,

I'm one of those kinds of people that needs,

That likes structure and rules and boundaries.

That helps me thrive.

Call me an endless,

I'm a forever preschooler,

But I need the schedule,

The reminders,

The transitions that are clear and defined.

And so for me,

Kabbalah,

Even though there is a structure,

And the structure,

By the way,

Is not something that someone woke up in the,

Woke up,

Channeled in the shower one morning,

The wisdom itself comes from ancient texts.

And we sometimes quote and refer to the texts in the podcast,

But really,

I mean,

We're sitting,

I think I shared this in one of the classes,

But we were sitting in a level five course a few weeks ago and somebody sent me a message and said,

This really feels like I'm back in level one.

And I explained to him that the reason is because level one is actually based on these texts that we're now reading directly from.

So sometimes people come and see these classes and say,

Well,

I'm not interested in the journey,

You know,

Improving my life.

I want to study deep wisdom.

When are we going to learn about the tree of life?

When am I going to learn,

You know,

Deep,

When am I going to meditate for five hours a day and not realizing that even in those first few courses when we're teaching what we call the fundamentals or the basics,

Even those basics,

They're not really basic.

Very deep.

They're very deep.

And they're not,

I mean,

To me,

What we really do is we study the way that the universe was created,

The structure of the universe,

The way that energy moves and manifests in the world.

And from that understanding,

We can understand our own universe.

Why when I'm trying to force my kids to do something and they don't listen?

Why I break out knives or why,

You know,

No matter how hard I try,

I can't break this habit or this pattern.

Why is it set up for me like that without understanding?

I don't know.

To me,

Like you said,

There's so much out there that you can learn and a lot of it really does reinforce,

Strengthen.

Sometimes I go to,

There's a few people that I follow on social media that are psychiatrists or psychologists that share really profound wisdom about the way our brains develop and why our neurotransmitters work the way that they do.

That to me is a reinforcement of this knowledge that explains on a biological level what we're teaching on a spiritual level,

On a metaphysical level,

Which we,

Part of what we teach is that the metaphysical is the cause,

Not the physical.

So when you start to understand the unseen cause,

You can better understand the revealed cause.

Beautiful.

Beautiful.

Eita,

Do you have an example of a situation,

Maybe I know it'd be hard to kind of just go through the encyclopedia in your brain of what's happened,

But example of a student that maybe you saw,

You helped them in one area,

But then you had to like,

Gosh,

I don't know how to say it,

Then maybe you had to help them with another area,

Kids,

Like the holistic approach that Kabbalah gives.

And it's not just very tunneled into one thing that you help people with.

I'm sure you've guided families or people through a process and then.

.

.

You mean like people who come to,

Because they have,

Let's say certain chaos in one area of their life and you end up having to work with them.

In that one area,

Right?

But then the power of Kabbalah really is how you start to help in all the areas.

Overhelp.

Yeah,

Exactly.

Kind of like the whole life.

.

.

I'm at a loss for words.

I think I get you as we're going to talk,

I think it will reveal itself.

So listen,

Before we said our goal is to help people to raise their consciousness,

To connect to the purpose of life.

But speaking of raising consciousness,

I think we should raise the camera.

We're losing it.

Because we're losing you.

Slowly,

I say that.

It just reaches every few minutes.

There we go.

I think we're raising the iPad too much,

The elevation of the consciousness.

Is it better now?

Much better,

Much better.

Please remind me if it's actually sliding again.

I think you're elevating from your chair or something.

Yes.

Okay.

It is typical,

And that's human nature,

That we wake up to ask questions whenever we have a specific problem in our life.

And it's okay.

We're human beings.

You know,

That's maybe our way to wake up.

So I remember that person that came to me when he just started a business,

And very fast the business started to grow.

And he actually couldn't handle the pressure,

If it's the pressure of dealing with his partner,

If it's the pressures of the tremendous demands that he had,

If it's the pressure of dealing with some more money,

If it's the pressure of dealing with investors.

And it's interesting what he discovered in that process,

Actually,

Of us working together,

That as he's getting to a greater level of responsibility,

His natural reactive self is to shy away from responsibility,

To let someone else become the bigger leader,

To let someone else taking more charge.

He actually discovered false humility.

No,

It's okay.

You love 70% of the company.

You take over.

It's all good.

I'm the humble guy.

And actually he realized that this type of attitude,

Even though externally it looks pretty humble,

It's a life lesson that sometimes he needs to create more boundaries,

To believe in himself,

To risk and to have more responsibility.

And then he realized he had the same lessons with his relationship,

While he actually did afraid to set boundaries now with his ex-wife,

He realized,

Gave her too much power and actually gave her too much power to create cash without judging her from it because,

Metabolistically,

Would never judge other people or other situation,

The partners,

The wife,

The ex-wife.

It's about what's more my lesson.

And actually the lesson in one area in your life is the same lessons of all area in your life.

That's what you meant,

David,

Holistically.

So maybe when we've pressured and he had overstress at work,

That's the only area he saw this lesson,

But when he zoomed out and he achieved certain balance in his business,

He realized,

Wow,

That's my lessons with my ex-wife and with my present relationship.

I need to pay attention because he had tendency not to believe his own voice,

To a false humility and to let the other person dictate.

He was running away from confrontation.

He was running away from truly sharing how he feels.

So that same lesson in business applied in relationship.

And I can tell you now,

His present business is so much more,

Much more balanced.

He stepped into his power in a very gentle,

Humble way that he is,

But without being afraid to express his feelings,

His opinion,

His talents.

And at the same time,

He was able to actually to attract much more balance and healthy and unified relationships.

That's one example that came to my head.

I think Eitan's example is perfect because it's a story of somebody who was looking to fix a problem,

Not realizing that the problem exists.

So he would focus on himself and how he needs to grow and elevate.

That to me is one of the most important takeaways from even the most basic courses that we teach is all of the external stuff,

My to-do list,

My job,

My home life,

Even my health.

It's a construct.

It's a movie scene,

Movie set that was built so that I would focus inward and do the work internally.

Not the problem is not my noisy neighbors.

The problem is some.

.

.

I don't.

.

.

Maybe I shouldn't say the problem is with me.

The opportunity for me in having noisy neighbors is where I need to look.

Not why aren't the police responding?

Not I'm going to take legal action.

And we always say this when we talk,

You may actually need to take legal action sometimes in life,

But the first step is asking,

How is this for me?

Where is the growth in it for me?

What is the universe trying to get me to look at by causing this scene in the storyline so that I can then turn inward?

And the bonus is,

Like you said with that particular person,

Aton,

He recognized what he needed to do in work and that recognition helped him reflect on how it shows up in the other areas of our life.

So we joke about how the universe gives us opportunity after opportunity.

Unfortunately,

It may have to shout louder and hit harder if we miss the first few flags it throws for us.

But the key here is the perspective shift that the work,

The external work is secondary to the inner work.

It triggered something in my mind about another way that Kabbalah is unique.

And I was listening to a class this morning,

It was one of the deeper classes that was sent to the teachers.

It was actually from Aton's brother who was teaching it for us.

And he quoted something that our teacher,

Rav Berg,

Would tell him.

He said that Rav Berg would tell him,

Out of all this wisdom and of all the secrets that we learn,

Everything,

He said,

Just always remind yourself,

It's like a mantra over and over again,

Just make sure you're be with the light,

Be with the light,

Be with the light.

He said it,

Just be with the light,

Be with the light.

For me,

It was a very powerful concept because as I'm saying to myself,

Be with the light,

It triggers all the different secrets that we're learning in Kabbalah,

What it means to be with the light.

And then I realized that is the power of what we do at the Kabbalah Center.

It's helping people have a relationship with the light of the Creator.

We're not performance coaches that will help you necessarily.

Someone comes to me and says,

How do I make more money?

I'm not addressing this question.

This is not a question that is meant to be addressed because if I acquiesce to this question and I say,

Well,

Okay,

Let's talk about how you can make more money,

That might trigger collateral damage in every other facet of this person's life.

And who said that this person is meant to actually be making more money now?

Who's to say that necessarily that's going to bring joy or happiness?

So it's totally the wrong question to address.

Our job is to help people have a relationship with the light of the Creator,

To understand what it means to have the light of the Creator.

But as a result,

David,

Let's acknowledge as a result of strengthening one of the indications that every area in my life is transforming towards the good,

Including financially.

So absolutely,

Because at least at the end of the day,

We're not here to torture ourselves and be spiritual.

The manifestation has to be there.

If there's no result,

The goal is because the intention of the light of the Creator is to share with us love and infinite fulfillment and success.

Exactly,

Exactly.

So that was the second place I was going to go to,

Which is don't worry,

We're going to get there and we're going to get to every other thing.

We're not just going to focus on whatever that means to you to be rich,

Quote unquote.

So I think that is something that's very unique.

I don't see other people using that language of a relationship with that endless force of light that belongs to every religion and every spiritual path,

So it's not like our God here,

Like our little religious God.

So I think that's something really,

Really important that our audience should know.

It's all about your relationship with the light,

Which then waterfalls to blessings in sustenance,

In family,

In relationships and health.

I want to say something else since we're on the topic.

I also want people who are listening maybe for the first time or who haven't taken our traditional courses to know,

I had a student whose life changed through Kabbalah,

A devout Catholic growing up,

And he was always saying,

I want my sibling to go into a tough time,

I want my sibling to study Kabbalah.

So I said,

All right,

I talked to the sibling a little bit and after I heard the problems,

I said,

You know,

You should take Kabbalah one.

And then she was like,

Oh,

Didn't take it.

Probably nine months went by.

And I was wondering why didn't she take it?

And I found out that there is this feeling that when you study Kabbalah,

It must be like against like,

You're betraying,

Exactly.

I've heard that before.

Perfect language.

I'm betraying the way I was raised.

I'm betraying Jesus Christ.

I'm betraying my Catholic upbringing,

Whatever it is.

So nine months later,

I think eventually she ended up taking the course just out of so much pain and needed solutions.

And after just three or four classes,

Which is all it takes,

Our life totally changed,

You know,

Had revelation,

And it's still ongoing.

And I want everybody to know that for some reason,

There is a stigma that we are this niche,

Like religious teaching.

It is so universal.

It is so powerful.

In fact,

If you are devout in any path you are in,

You will have a better experience with Kabbalah,

Because it means you already understand on a basic level,

A relationship with the Creator.

All you're going to learn is how to have a deeper connection to your faith,

Or a deeper connection to whatever spiritual path you have.

So I wanted to say that in case someone's hearing and had struggled with that,

This is so,

This is as universal as it gets.

And I don't want anything to deter you from or think that this is the opposite or against whatever it is that you were raised with.

I don't know if you experienced that,

Right?

Well,

There's also the perception that it's Jewish or Hebrew,

Right?

So it does often awaken confusion at the very least.

But I think that when you study historically,

I mean,

When I was in school,

I studied the history of religion and how religious observance and sects and things like that emerged.

Kabbalah is actually the original religion.

I mean,

I don't know how else to say it.

It's really.

.

.

It's a tough one.

It's a tough one.

It's the school of thought from which monotheism emerged.

So back in the day,

Before there were,

You know,

Even monotheism is novel in that sense.

Before there was this recognition that there is an omnipotent force that is behind the curtain and making everything,

Pushing all the buttons,

People worshiped gods,

Right?

The god of the sun,

The god of the grapes,

The god of rain and stuff.

And so Kabbalah really is the,

You know,

We look at Abraham the patriarch as the first,

He's also the father of monotheism,

But he's also the first author of any Kabbalistic text we can identify.

And he is really the trendsetter when it comes to the understanding of the way that the universe works.

And it's the other religions that emerged from that may have taken the practice,

But not the soul,

Not the explanations of the intricate workings of the universe,

The origins of humanity.

Why are we here?

Why do we need a body and a soul?

What is the soul?

Is there fate?

Is there free will?

Is there anything predestined?

Where do we come from and where are we headed?

All of those existential questions,

The answers existed before religion.

And then when history unfolded and people needed quote unquote,

Something tangible,

Ritual practice,

Advisors even,

The whole structure of,

What do we call it?

Like the hierarchies that are in religion now.

You kind of have to have that.

Right.

But Kabbalah existed before all that.

So people think,

Well,

Who invented Kabbalah?

Where did Kabbalah come from?

Kabbalah is what predates all of this structure and observance that we identify as religion today.

So that's why David was saying it's only going to enhance if you have a path already,

It's only going to enhance it because it was there at the beginning and now we're really just putting it back.

That's how I would explain it.

I like that.

I like that.

It's a tough one.

I'm not going to be here to say,

Oh,

No,

No,

No.

It's one that I feel like only when you go on the path,

You'll be like,

Oh,

Okay,

I see.

It's pretty simple.

It's pretty universal.

Eitan,

Tell us more secrets.

The secret that's come to my mind.

Yeah,

I know you got a secret on the tip of your tongue.

Yeah,

Connecting to treasure hunt.

So basically,

Yes,

Yes.

So you know,

We all have a tendency to,

You know,

One of the secrets that's connected actually to this week,

But it's a powerful secret,

I think that we all have certain situations or experiences that we are running away from.

Sometimes as men more than women,

We're running away from certain feelings,

You know,

Especially if you're a productive man,

Why should I dwell in fears and vulnerable and weakness and so on.

Sometimes we're running away from dealing with certain people,

Sometimes we're running away from certain confrontation,

Sometimes we're running away from certain experiences,

Dealing with certain experiences from the past.

We're running away.

We don't like moments that in our perception means I'm uncomfortable.

Who wants discomfort?

I want fulfillment.

I want joy.

I want pleasure.

I want stimulation.

I want excitement.

So why should they dwell in certain feelings?

Why should I expose certain potential doubt that I might have in this relationship?

So one of the interesting principles of Kabbalah,

Any uncomfortable situation,

Experience that typically I would somehow run away,

Run away by not addressing it,

Run away by blaming someone else for something that I'm going,

Any of these uncomfortable feelings within me,

There is hidden gift waiting for us.

One of the Kabbalistic rule is anything that you're running away facing today,

You will be forced to face later on.

It will be a little bit more uncomfortable and more painful.

So one of the things I seek,

I get from the teachings of Kabbalah,

And by the way,

We're human beings.

We all still need to learn our lessons.

How we are avoiding and running away.

For example,

One of my lessons in life is running away from feeling certain feelings by being busy,

If it's feeling of fears,

If it's feeling of anxiousness or feeling of stress,

Running away,

Just do things,

Manifest things,

Be more productive.

So one of the tools we get into the teachings of Kabbalah,

The courage to face what you're running away from and learning to actually find miracles through this process,

Which is everything in our journey that is actually in our life.

It's exactly what I need to experience.

Don't run away from it.

First is that there's a treasure waiting for you beneath it.

What are the tools to find that treasure?

What are the tools?

How can I be a treasure when I'm scared of certain experiences,

When I feel weak?

You know,

All the feelings that we all have,

Sorry,

I got through that.

All the feelings that we all have are messages for us.

Nevertheless,

If I am actually believing the face value of the feelings that I have,

I will be very reactive because any fearful feeling,

My mind will take me to worry about the future,

Worry about the past,

But there's another way to deal with it.

Acknowledge the feeling,

Face the feeling and learn what is the miracles hiding behind it.

So it's very interesting rule.

Anything that usually I will run away from has the greatest gift in my life hidden there.

So that's my little secret of today.

Everybody's having a moment of silence to think about what they've been running from.

It's so true.

It's so true.

When we resist,

Wait,

Somebody said it once,

That which we resist persists.

But what Eitan is saying is taking it to a deeper level.

That's where the joy and fulfillment and happiness is.

And I think that every time we dare to go there,

To sit with the discomfort,

To acknowledge how we feel,

For everybody,

As Eitan said,

It's going to be something different.

Sometimes a person has difficulty communicating and they think that saying what they think or what they feel is going to be the worst thing they could ever do.

But it's actually in that expression that the real joy and miracles,

I would say,

That's really where it is.

It's hard to go there.

It sometimes seems like the most awful thought in the world would be to sit in that discomfort.

But that really is where the moments are.

What I realize about when we say it's hard to go there,

That's implying that a person is totally conscious of the fact that they need to go there.

And then it's saying,

Well,

I need to go there.

I probably should go there.

A lot of good stuff waiting for me there.

But it's hard.

I think what it sounds like is most people don't even consider going there.

Because even if you hear it now,

If your life's okay and things are going well for you and you're stimulated and then you just heard this powerful thing Eitan said,

You're not thinking,

Well,

I'm just going to forego all this amazing things that are happening to listen to what Eitan said because it might get better.

Most people need to wait for the waters to recede,

All the stimulation and all those good things to go away.

And they're like,

Well,

That didn't work.

I need to try something that does work to make me happy.

Okay,

I'm going to try this thing that Eitan said,

Which is deal with my whatever,

My whatever.

I think that's just the bottom line.

I'm just trying to state the obvious,

Which is you're listening to this.

You said,

That sounds wonderful.

Am I going to now change my life to do that?

Probably not.

I'm going to wait for something to happen that kind of says I must do that and then I'll do it.

I mean,

Am I correct?

Yes,

But what we're saying is when you step into it proactively without being forced to step into it,

It's a lot easier and the reward is greater.

Intellectually,

That makes sense.

I don't feel.

.

.

Okay,

David,

What do you tell people when they say,

I don't want to?

I tell people something that I learned from our teacher,

Which is double down on the negative thing you're doing,

Quadruple down on it.

Go all in.

It's like you're in a toxic relationship.

You're not sure.

Someone says,

I'm not sure.

Should I leave it?

I'm not.

I say,

Leave it.

Go all in this toxic relationship because they need to kind of speed up that process of understanding and feeling for themselves versus taking my word for it that they should leave and then all of a sudden,

Always thinking,

Wait,

Did I make a mistake?

Oh,

Wait,

I didn't truly choose for myself.

I said you double down on that thing.

But I would say,

I agree with you,

David,

That all of us are not ready to face certain darkness in our life.

But what you are ready to face is darkness that keeps showing up in your life,

Negative feelings,

Negative conflicts,

Negative scenarios,

Which as a result of you not dealing with it,

You open yourself to realize,

Wow,

It's draining my energy.

It's draining my energy.

The only reason you will decide to follow the secret and to try to shift your consciousness in life is because you realize it's actually hurting your life.

If you doesn't realize it's hurting your life,

I agree with you,

Nobody will change.

But one of the things that Kabbalah does,

Helping us to connect the dots.

If you think avoiding that particular darkness,

Adding more value in your life,

Go ahead,

Avoid it.

That's the conversation we need to be having.

That's it right there.

And that's the reason.

One of the tools that works for me and I work to a lot of people,

Ask yourself the question,

How avoiding these feelings actually works for me and serve me and how does it hurt me?

Because big part of Kabbalah is honesty.

Listen,

We're not here to face uncomfortable situations.

Life is about being comfortable.

In the path of having real comfort and real uninterrupted happiness,

I might need to go to the illusion of discomfort.

That's what I would say.

But Kabbalah doesn't teach us how to be uncomfortable.

Kabbalah teaches us how to remove the illusionary perception of comfort and discomfort and to experience real comfort.

100%.

I like that.

I brought that up,

Not really knowing why I said that,

Kind of just opposing the view,

Because I wanted to squeeze out of this a tool,

Which Eytan just shared,

Which is having that conversation with yourself and doing a self-audit of the pleasure-pain matrix of what am I getting?

What's the pleasure here?

What's the pain?

Because we hold on to pleasure.

That's the bottom line.

It doesn't matter if this most inspiring person is screaming in our face to do the opposite.

If I think I'm still getting more pleasure by doing whatever it is I'm doing,

I'm going to keep doing that.

Absolutely.

And the Kabbalah is saying the only difference between one person and another is perceptions of what is more pleasurable and what's more painful for them.

And as you raise your consciousness,

You realize that one second of pleasure is not worth it comparing to the shame events of pain that it's causing in my life.

And that's what awareness is about.

That's right.

It's beautiful.

The goal is to have more pleasures in my life in a real sustainable way.

Period.

Thank you,

Eitan,

So much for joining us this week,

Everybody.

Thank you,

Guys.

Thank you.

Please come back more often.

Please.

And again,

This is timely because this is the week that the universe is really asking us to assess our journey.

Where are we at?

How far have we come?

And how much further do we have to go?

What's next for us,

Each individual person on their spiritual journey?

So hopefully this has helped give some clarity and some perspective.

And we'll see you next week on the Weekly Energy Boost.

A powerful and important conversation that everyone should listen to in the hope that at least a few grasp its significance.
