Today's meditation is all about amplifying your voice.

Find a place where you know you can be comfortable and undisturbed for the next little while.

Get present in your body and begin to focus in on your breath.

Allow any background noise to be part of the process.

Don't let it distract you.

Just bring it inside and let it go.

Just like a thought.

Acknowledge it and let it go.

As you begin relaxing your body,

I invite you to do a scan.

Just noticing anywhere inside your body are your energy that's calling for your attention.

Perhaps you're feeling some furrowed brows.

Perhaps you're feeling some constriction in your throat.

Perhaps you're beginning to feel some energy running through your belly.

Perhaps tightness in your shoulders.

Allow each breath to melt it,

Nourish it,

And let it go.

We allow ourselves to let something go when we release the meaning around it and choose a meaning that serves you better.

Attention does not have to mean stress.

It's just what is.

Just allow yourself to breathe and get present with your own body.

Feeling your feet,

Feeling your hands,

Feeling your heart.

The first step in learning to amplify your voice is getting familiar with what it is that you actually want to say.

Not from your mind,

Not from your intellect,

But from the place where all energy and truth originates from your heart.

Your heart is the seat of your highest self,

Of your soul,

Of the divine wisdom that runs down your energy centers and lands in your heart.

Take a moment to connect with your heart right now.

Take a moment to get present to the beating,

To the pulsing of your heart.

Your heart has wisdom beyond your mind,

Beyond the logical.

When you get to know the messages,

The voice of your heart,

That inner counsel part of you becomes your best advisor and allows you to speak up and share your truth even through a shaky voice.

As you get more and more connected to your heart,

Even if you get distracted,

Just keep coming back.

Ask your heart right now,

What have I been longing to say?

Just let yourself listen.

Answer can come as a symbol,

As words,

As a vision,

Or as a deep knowing.

What have I been longing to say?

Nothing's coming up right away.

It's okay.

Sometimes when you're asking the heart,

Your heart question,

It's been a while.

You need to begin to reconnect.

So even if just a sliver of a thought came up,

Just honor it.

You can ask this question anytime on a daily basis when you're making a decision,

You need to tune into your truth and tune out external limited.

So whatever you received as an answer,

Surround it with a bubble of light and allow that bubble of light to travel from your heart up to your throat and settle there for a moment.

Allow that bubble of energy to rest in your throat and see how it feels now.

Sometimes if you're not used to speaking out for yourself,

For your truth,

In a moment it can feel very challenging to speak up even to yourself sometimes.

The more you allow your voice to come from a place of heart intention,

The more your truth will come from a place of love and compassion and will be much more likely to proceed that way.

When you come to others with an intention of compassion and speak your truth directly,

But wrapped in the compassion of your heart,

Miracles can happen in relationships.

You can feel the power to speak up for yourself and amplify your thoughts.

So right now,

Allow yourself to feel what it would be like to speak the truth of your longing.

Either in your mind,

I,

Or say out loud,

I have been longing to stay and then say whatever came before you.

Feel how that feels in your body.

You get chills and you feel emotional.

Does your heart recognize the truth of what you said?

This is how you begin to amplify your thoughts.

Because when you're speaking from the heart,

You're much more likely to stay open,

To stay grounded and to stay in your center of power.

Not in order to win someone over or to convince anyone of anything,

But with a deep intention of compassion,

Active listening and amplifying your goals.

I hope you practice this guided meditation often.

I hope you check in with your heart on a daily basis because right now and always there are a million distractions,

A million opinions floating around,

And it's more important than ever that you stay in your heart,

Identify your longing and your truth and be open to sharing it with compassion.

Listen and share.
