This is a prayer of self-love,
Self-gratitude,
Self-forgiveness,
And self-compassion.
Every relationship you have starts and ends as a mirror to the relationship that you have with yourself.
You may have heard the Hopo Ono prayer,
A prayer of love and forgiveness.
This is a different take on that prayer.
In this moment,
Bring to mind any stuck points in your life where you may wish that you've made a different decision,
Gone left instead of right,
Something that eats away at your inner peace.
Just allow yourself to breathe into that feeling without getting too caught up in the actual event.
Begin to notice where in your body you might feel tension,
Lingering stress,
Tightness,
And discord.
These are the energetic trails connecting you to that event,
Leaking your energy from allowing you to be fully present and taking away from your ability to create and connect in the now.
From this place of acknowledgement,
Start taking some nice deep breaths,
Consciously taking in oxygen through your nose,
Feeling the coolness of the air going into your body,
And allowing the exhale to release some of that tension and stress,
Perhaps seeing it as color leaving your body.
Taking in more air,
Allowing it to scoop up any tension and stress,
Allowing that to leave on a cloud of air as you exhale.
Begin noticing the bottom of your feet.
As I mentioned,
Each body part,
Allow your inhale and exhale to bring relaxation and releasing tension on each exhale,
Allowing your body to regulate your breath without trying to force any inhale or exhale.
Continue bringing your relaxation and awareness to your legs,
Noticing that even as I mention each body part,
It begins to release some tension.
Feeling any tension and releasing it in your calves,
Your shins,
Your thighs,
Your hips.
Continuing to breathe in peace and relaxation,
Releasing stress and tension on the exhale,
Bringing awareness to your belly,
Releasing any gripping or holding,
Noticing your lower back,
Your mid back,
Your upper back,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
And your hands,
Allowing your fingers to wiggle to tense and then relax.
Continuing to breathe and bringing attention and awareness to your solar plexus,
Acknowledging any tension,
Any bits of anxiety,
Allowing your breath to soften it,
If only just a moment.
Bringing attention and awareness to your heart space,
Your lungs,
Your neck and your throat,
Letting everything soften as much as feels comfortable for you.
Continuing to experience the peace of the inhale and the release of the exhale,
Bringing attention and awareness to your face,
Your jaw,
Allowing your teeth to part and your tongue to rest.
Your cheeks,
All the tiny muscles around your eyes and behind your eyeballs,
Your brow,
Any tension in your third eye between your eyebrows,
Letting it soften and relax.
Perhaps even allowing your eyes to roll up,
Facing your third eye,
Activating your pineal gland,
Activating your intuitive knowing and your inner vision.
And finally,
Releasing any tension in your scalp,
In your ears,
Continuing to breathe from the space of relaxation and acknowledgement of past regrets and mistakes,
Learning to trust that our path might go sideways.
And yet it leads us to exactly where we need to go to experience our soul lessons.
From the space,
Listen and receive these deep soul affirmations,
Allowing you to release regret,
Doubt and anxiety about the past.
Thank you for the lessons of my past.
I fully receive the knowledge,
The wisdom and everything I needed to experience.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I now choose to love who I have been,
The mistakes I have made,
Knowing that they are leading me to exactly where I am meant to go,
Allowing me to make conscious choices of discernment,
Of knowing,
Of inner wisdom.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry for the times that I chose against myself.
For the times that I knew what I needed,
But chose differently.
I'm sorry for the times I compromised my integrity to make someone else happy.
I know now that in the long run,
That happiness is fleeting and my integrity is much more important.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me for the moments where I betrayed myself,
For the moments I didn't share what I knew to be right and true,
For the moments I sacrificed my own wellbeing for someone or something else.
I'm sorry for all the times that I didn't fully love and embrace myself in all of my gifts,
My faults,
And anything that took away from who I truly am.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Take a nice deep breath and receive the alchemy of transformation,
Of love,
Forgiveness,
Gratitude,
And acknowledgement of who you really are.
Stay in this space for as long as feels good and as long as you need.
Come back to this place of self-love and forgiveness as often as your soul desires.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So it is.
It is done.
Blessings be.
Amen.
