Hi friend,
This meditation is short and sweet for you to regain your presence and come back to the moment you are in.
So often we rush through the day and we try to be very productive,
And that's how we determine the success of our day.
What if it could be different?
Allow yourself to soften,
Resting your eyes,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Begin the process of slowing down,
Inhale deeply,
Exhale let it go,
Softening into this very moment,
Gently telling your mind it's time to rest and just be here,
Slow breath in,
Slow exhale.
What do you tend to tie your worth and success to?
What if your worth is not tied to anything?
Breathe in deeply and exhale,
Training your mind to come back right here.
What if living your life to the fullest was just about how well you can be where your feet are?
Land in this moment again and again,
Breathe in,
Let it go,
Allow your heart to open,
Your mind to open,
And really take in these words.
Alan Watts said,
Stop measuring days by degree of productivity and start experiencing them by degree of presence.
What would it feel like to practice presence over productivity?
May you continue to sit with this new idea that maybe the success of your day is how well you came back to the present moment,
Again and again and again,
Breathe in deeply,
Let it go,
From my heart to yours.
