Gently make your way into a restful place.
And maybe you don't have the ability to be seated or lay down.
But within your mind,
You can start to shift into a more restful state,
Signaling to your mind that it is time and stop doing a slow breath in through your nose.
So exhale out your mouth.
Breathe in and exhale.
Starting to slow the breath down.
And notice how your mind starts to do the same.
There is no rush here.
There is nothing to do here.
Feel the softening of your face,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders settling into the stillness that is within you.
That stillness is not a place we get to.
It's in our nature.
We simply learn to reconnect to our stillness.
We remember that in this stillness is the present moment.
And in the present moment,
Everything is okay.
Breathe in slowly.
Breathe out.
Feel the slowing down.
Whisper to your heart,
Your mind,
Your body.
I am here and I can rest.
I am here and I can rest.
Breathe in slowly.
Breathe out.
Jaya John writes every single thing in your life heals and bloom.
Your name is not exhaustion.
You do not have to answer when called that way.
Notice how it feels to rest here.
Notice how good it feels to be still,
To practice the non doing.
I am here and I can rest.
Breathe in.
Our greatest medicine is rest.
My friend,
You do not need to earn rest.
You simply need to become more aware and listen to when your body craves rest.
Maybe becoming a little bit more proactive and allowing yourself to slow down and be still every single day.
Making rest a part of your routine.
Making rest a daily ritual.
Deep breath in.
Big exhale.
Feeling the pressure just lift off your shoulders.
There's nothing to do in this moment.
You can let go here.
You can rest here.
Fully surrender to the stillness.
Slow breath in.
Exhale.
You don't have to wait until you're completely exhausted to rest.
Rest is the greatest,
Most underutilized way to heal yourself.
May you spend your life calming,
Relaxing,
Your nervous system,
Softening and resting.
Breathe in slowly.
Let it go.
Remember that rest is part of the process.
Notice how you feel right here.
May you continue to bring this rest and ease into the rest of your day.
Knowing that you can go slowly.
Inhale through your nose.
Exhale,
Let it go.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale from my heart to yours.
