Tamara came to yoga seeking relief — from pain, from a body that often felt unpredictable, and from a nervous system that rarely rested. What she discovered wasn’t a cure or a return to life before chronic pain, but a way to shift her relationship with herself and with the pain she lives with. Living with chronic pain, including fibromyalgia, deeply informs her teaching. Some days her body feels open and capable; other days it feels foggy or tender. Yoga didn’t erase that variability, but it offered a way to remain in relationship with her body, even when things are messy. Her journey into therapeutic yoga was never about mastering shapes or pushing limits, but about listening to sensations, fatigue, and quiet signals to soften or rest. Meditation became a practice of being with discomfort without resistance. Tamara teaches Yin Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, and meditation with a focus on accessibility, nervous system awareness, and permission. Messy practice is central, and healing is rarely linear. Rooted in ahimsa and mindful attention to habitual patterns, her teaching extends beyond the mat, inviting gentler ways of living with pain and cultivating a more compassionate relationship with oneself.
