Welcome to this guided meditation that takes you into the depths of stillness and presence.

Find a comfortable lying position,

Allowing your body to fully relax.

Close your eyes gently,

And take a few deep,

Cleansing breaths.

As you settle into this state of relaxation,

Let go of any tension or concerns.

Give yourself permission to fully immerse in this practice.

The technique we will explore is simple,

Yet profound.

It invites you to experience a state of being that is beyond the ordinary mind.

Lie down as if you were dead.

Imagine that your body has become completely still,

As if life has departed from it.

Feel the weight of your body sinking into the surface beneath you.

Your limbs are heavy,

Your muscles are relaxed,

And your breath is calm and steady.

As you lie there,

Imagine yourself in a state of complete surrender.

You have let go of all control,

All desires,

And all movements.

Just like a lifeless body,

You are at peace with whatever is.

Imagine that your body has become completely still,

Feel the weight of your body sinking into the surface beneath you.

Your limbs are heavy,

Your muscles are relaxed,

And your breath is calm and steady.

As you lie there,

Imagine yourself in a state of complete surrender.

You have let go of all control,

All desires,

And all movements.

Just like a lifeless body,

You are at peace with whatever is.

Now as you maintain this stillness,

Become the observer of your thoughts and emotions.

Enraged in wrath,

Stay so.

If anger or any other emotion arises,

Don't resist it.

Just let it be there without reacting.

When you are the witness,

Detach from the turmoil,

Or shift your focus to your physical sensations.

Stare without moving an eyelash.

Imagine that you are gazing at something with unwavering concentration,

Your eyes are fixed,

And your attention is laser-focused on the present moment.

As you maintain this stillness,

Or shift your focus to your physical sensations.

Stare without moving an eyelash.

Imagine that you are gazing at something with unwavering concentration,

Your eyes are fixed,

And your attention is laser-focused on the present moment.

Let's explore the sensation of sucking.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Imagine that each inhale is a gentle nourishing suction,

Drawing in life force,

And each exhale is a release,

A letting go.

Become the act of sucking,

Fully engaged in the rhythm of breath.

As you continue this practice,

You might encounter various emotions,

Thoughts,

Or even discomfort.

Lie down as dead.

Stay with it,

Whatever arises.

Remember,

You are not the experiencer.

You are the witnessing consciousness that remains unaffected.

Now,

If,

At any point,

You find your mind wandering or getting entangled in thoughts,

Gently guide your focus back to your chosen point of attention.

Lie down as dead.

Enraged in wrath,

Stay so.

Stare without moving an eyelash.

Suck in the breath,

And become the sucking.

Allow yourself to be in this state for a few more moments.

Experience the stillness,

The detachment,

And the full presence of your being.

The external world fades away as you go deeper within.

As we come to the end of this meditation,

Take a few deep breaths,

Gently reawakening your body.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing movement back.

Know that this technique,

Practiced with patience and perseverance,

Can lead to profound transformations.

Just as Ramana Maharshi experienced a powerful shift through this method,

You too can access deeper states of consciousness.

When you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Take a moment to observe the shift in your awareness,

And how you feel after engaging in this technique.

Thank you for joining in this exploration of stillness and self-awareness.

May you carry the essence of this practice into your daily life,

Experiencing moments of peace and presence.
