Welcome to this 15-minute guided meditation practice inspired by the technique shared by Shiva.
Find a comfortable and quiet place to sit or lie down.
If you are sitting,
Assume a comfortable posture with your back straight and your hands resting on your lap.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Allowing your chest and abdomen to rise.
Exhale slowly through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension or stress.
Take another deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself relaxing even further.
Now,
Let's begin by bringing our awareness to our physical body.
Feel the weight of your body against the surface you're resting on.
Notice the sensation of contact between your body and the support beneath you.
As you focus on this sensation,
I will guide you through the practice of weightlessness.
Imagine that your body is becoming lighter and lighter.
Visualize the sensation of weightlessness spreading throughout your entire body,
Starting from your toes and moving upwards.
With each breath you take,
Feel the sensation of weightlessness intensifying.
Imagine that the pull of gravity on your body is gradually diminishing.
As you do this,
Notice if you begin to feel a subtle shift in your perception of your body's weight.
Now,
Imagine that you are sitting or lying on a cloud,
Completely supported by the air beneath you.
Feel as though the cloud is gently cradling you,
Allowing you to float effortlessly.
The feeling of weightlessness becomes more real with each passing moment.
With your eyes closed,
Allow yourself to enter a state of deep relaxation.
Let go of any thoughts about the external world or the physical sensations of your body.
Focus only on the sensation of weightlessness and the gentle support of the imaginary cloud.
Focus only on the sensation of weightlessness and the gentle support of the imaginary cloud.
As you continue to focus on this sensation,
You might notice a subtle shift in your awareness.
The boundaries of your physical body might start to blur,
And you may begin to feel a sense of expansiveness beyond the limits of your skin.
In this state of weightlessness,
You are transcending the limitations of your body and mind.
You are no longer confined by the heaviness of your physical form.
Instead,
You are entering a realm of pure consciousness beyond the pull of gravity and the chatter of the mind.
Imagine that the pull of gravity on your body is gradually diminishing.
As you do this,
Notice if you begin to feel a subtle shift in your perception of your body's weight.
Now,
Imagine that you are sitting or lying on a cloud,
Completely supported by the air beneath you.
Feel as though the cloud is gently cradling you,
Allowing you to float effortlessly.

Let's take a moment to extend loving kindness to ourselves and others.
Allow your awareness to expand beyond your own experience of weightlessness.
Imagine that you are surrounded by a warm,
Radiant light of love and compassion.
Feel this light enveloping you,
Bringing a sense of peace and comfort to your being.
Now,
Extend this loving kindness to those around you.
Visualize your loved ones,
Friends,
Family,
And even acquaintances.
See them bathed in the same loving light,
Experiencing their own moments of peace and joy.
Extend this circle of loving kindness even further.
Envision all beings on this earth,
Regardless of their background or circumstances.
Send them your heartfelt wishes for well-being,
Happiness,
And freedom from suffering.
As you hold this intention of loving kindness,
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale slowly.
Feel the energy of love radiating from your heart center,
Connecting you to the web of interconnectedness that binds us all.
When you're ready,
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale slowly.
Gently open your eyes with a sense of gratitude and compassion.
Carry this feeling of loving kindness with you as you go about your day,
Sharing its positive energy with the world around you.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Take a moment to ground yourself,
And transition back to your surroundings.
Carry the feeling of weightlessness with you,
Knowing that you can access this state of being anytime you choose.
