Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
Let's just spend some time watching our breath coming in,
Going out,
Coming in,
Going out.
As we watch our breath,
Our mind becomes stiller and quieter,
Quieter and stiller.
And this beautiful silence is so peaceful,
So rejuvenating,
So peaceful.
As we journey through life,
We take time each day to be present,
To be still.
In this way,
We fill ourselves up with peace,
With love,
With trust.
We trust ourselves because we take care of ourselves.
We take care of ourselves,
Thus we build trust in ourselves.
And even though life is filled with change,
The one permanent,
Lasting essence of who we are is awareness,
And when we're still,
We are aware that we get peaceful.
And spending time each day to be still guarantees us that we will be peaceful.
And as life is full of change,
We can,
In our meditation,
In our stillness,
Build a loving trust in our own self-care,
That we will take time to take care of us.
And because we take care of ourselves,
Life goes well.
We may,
Along the journey of life,
Meet others who don't always have our well-being as a center of their focus,
And sometimes,
Because of impermanence,
Suffering arises.
But,
Because we take care of ourselves each day,
To be present,
To be still,
When impermanence causes us suffering,
Causes us pain,
It goes away very quickly because we heal.
We take time for healing,
And then we get back to what's happening right here,
Right now.
We learn from life.
We don't keep letting things happen to us that cause us pain,
But the suffering,
The mental suffering,
Doesn't have to continue because we learn.
We grow,
And there's an ongoing building of trust,
Trust in our own self-care,
Trust that when there is pain,
That we will heal,
Trust that we will learn from the painful events of our lives.
We grow,
And after the healing occurs,
Work towards making choices so there's less pain.
Pain doesn't keep us from reaching out in love towards others.
Pain is our teacher of what's good for us,
What's healthy for us,
And what isn't.
But at our core,
We take care of ourselves,
We build trust in ourselves,
Knowing,
Experiencing,
Living each day with our meditation,
With our silence,
With our present awareness.
There is nurturing,
There is healing,
There is love.
And even if we continue to experience external pains,
We know that internally we will heal,
And internally we will take time to love ourselves,
To trust in ourselves,
And to just be,
To be present,
To be still.
All is well.
All is well when we flow with life and take time to breathe.
Breathe.
All is well.
