
Guided Meditation For Mornings
A guided meditation for us to listen to when we first get up.
Transcript
Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
Good.
Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
In order to start your day well,
So that you can be present and aware throughout the day,
This is a wonderful time for you to slowly allow yourself to be 100% present with your breath right here,
Right now.
And in order to help you stay present throughout this meditation,
Just focus on my words and focus on your breath.
And what you will find is your mind will stay quiet.
You will feel this wonderful warmth and peace arise inside of you.
It's always there,
Always present,
But your mind,
The thoughts that go inside your head,
Keep you from experiencing it.
So be still now.
Be present with your breath as you prepare yourself for your day.
Breathing slowly,
Breathing deeply helps you connect yourself with you,
Helps you to be aware of what's happening inside of you.
And if you find that thoughts are present,
Don't push them away,
Don't go with them,
Merely witness them,
And get back to following the slow,
Gentle,
Rhythmic breaths going in,
Going out,
Going in,
Going out.
Good,
Good.
Because you're taking time for yourself this morning,
Your true self,
The core of who you are,
Will be now more able to be present with you throughout the day because that silent awareness is always there,
Always present.
But now that you are participating in that silent awareness,
You can remember this wonderful feeling of being still and being present.
And as your day unfolds ahead of you,
When thoughts arise,
You again then can get back to your breath and be present with what is.
Breathing slowly,
Breathing deeply is a wonderful way to start your day and to go throughout your day.
It centers you,
It grounds you,
And it helps to quiet the mind so that you can be present with what is.
When you listen,
Just listen.
When you feel,
Just feel.
Whatever is happening right here,
Right now,
Just be present with that.
And when the thoughts try to get in the way from being present,
Again,
Don't push them away.
Don't go with them.
Just witness them and get back to this steady rhythm of your breath.
This morning meditation is truly preparing you to have a peaceful,
Aware,
Present day throughout the day.
If you get busier later,
Just take a couple of deep breaths again and remember what it felt like to be present with your breath.
Deep slow breathing is so grounding.
It quiets the mind and helps you to be still inside,
So breathe slowly this morning and breathe deeply this morning.
Slowly and deeply.
Let your body,
Let your mind become accustomed to this tranquil,
Peaceful state.
It is your natural state,
Always with you.
It's just the noise of the outside world and your ego gets in the way of you experiencing it.
Still starting every day,
Being present in the here and now helps you throughout your day to be present in the here and now.
Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
Breathe slowly,
Breathe deeply.
Starting each morning with meditation is such a soul,
Mind,
Body enriching tool.
It's giving you the greatest gift,
Your body,
Your mind,
Your spirit need to function well in this world.
Because when you start the day being present with what is,
Which right now is your breath,
You'll be able to be present with what is 100% throughout your day.
Meaning that this type of living is very,
Very good for you.
Continue to breathe slowly,
Continue to breathe deeply.
Good.
Good.
