Before drifting off,

Please be sure you're in a comfortable,

Safe place while listening to this,

That you're not driving and you're not operating any heavy machinery.

You may want to turn down your phone if you haven't already.

It's fine to fall asleep.

These downloads are not mental health treatment,

If you need psychotherapy or hypnotherapy,

Please seek treatment from a trained professional.

Begin to relax your body.

Quickly scan the body for any areas of tension and let those areas soften.

You can let your breath slow and then put yourself into a dreamlike state.

Notice that a wave of relaxation spreads across your body.

It can start above your head and move all the way down your body beyond your feet.

Your hands are relaxed,

Your arms,

Your neck and shoulders.

You can let your jaw release,

The tongue come off the roof of your mouth,

And the skin around your eyes soften.

Just for the next few moments,

You can think the word relax as you exhale,

Knowing with each exhalation you're going deeper into a meditative and hypnotic state.

Don't feel like you need to pay attention to every word I say.

You can let the words vibrate the body and pass through.

Know that the effect will be the same and your subconscious mind will take in the suggestions that you've asked me to make.

This is a time of change and times of change are also times for learning.

As you relax,

Open the intuitive part of the mind to allow yourself to gain from hypnosis.

In the last few minutes,

You've already learned how to relax the body and mind and become aware of things in a new way.

This will help you over the next few months as your body changes,

Your child grows within you and in the ultimate experience of the birth of your child.

Both your pregnancy and the birth are some of the most significant experiences of your life.

Notice that it was not me who created this feeling of relaxation,

Rather you did by simply following my directions.

You now know that you have the ability to return to this peaceful and serene state of physical and emotional relaxation at any point in the future.

It feels wonderful to learn this new skill.

If at any time anxiety,

Fear,

Worry or discomfort become part of your awareness,

You know that you can return to this exact state of calmness and serenity.

Whether you can lie down or not,

You can simply recall the experience that you are having now and place yourself back into this state.

See yourself from above for a moment and notice that you are fully relaxed,

Perhaps even in a peaceful sleep and feeling serene.

It's remarkable how good it feels and how easy it is to just be still in a world of personal change.

Each night before you go to sleep,

Recall the feelings of joy you have had that day or a joyful experience you have had in your life.

Reflect on it briefly and then imagine your baby surrounded by this feeling of joy.

It may be a small moment,

It may be a larger one.

Just allow yourself to bond with your child envisioning the growth of this baby inside of you and your growing feelings of joy and connection.

Know that these feelings happen over time and will grow over time after you have the baby as well.

Certainly this is an emotional process but it is also a basic physical reality.

You are enjoying to your child nourishing and helping your baby to become a wonderful part of your life.

Every morning you will wake up sensing the joy you fell asleep with as each day brings you closer to holding this special gift.

As you look in the mirror each day,

See yourself not just as you have been in the past but as you are now while preparing for this wonderful change.

It's a change that feels safe,

Secure and natural.

It's okay to turn down the voice of anxiety in your mind because you understand that your body knows how to care for this pregnancy.

Imagine an old fashioned radio dial,

See the knobs and the numbers written there,

0 to 10.

If anxiety is present or arises in the future,

Reach out and adjust the dial,

Turning the sound of anxiety down to a level that feels better to you.

It's perfectly fine to turn it all the way down to 0 even.

Notice this for a moment now.

Now take a moment to listen to your inner voice of experience and become aware of any needs you have yet to meet to prepare for birth.

Bring the solutions from within your experiences to your consciousness and act on these realizations over the next few weeks and months.

Any physical aches and pains that sometimes come with pregnancy will be experienced as passing and manageable.

Knowing your body is just adjusting to the growing child inside of you.

Like many women during pregnancy,

You'll feel better and better as the baby grows knowing that you'll soon meet them.

Your body knows how to give birth.

It's not something you need to think your way through.

Like billions of other women who have given birth since the beginning of time,

Find peace and security in knowing your body will do what's best for your baby.

Your experience is not the experience of others,

It's yours alone.

So you have the ability to experience pregnancy and childbirth in any way that is best for you and your child.

With any time you need to make decisions during your birth,

You'll be able to access your thinking mind and be able to easily do so.

The decisions will come naturally and feel good and centered.

You'll have a clear sense of what the best decision is for yourself and your baby.

The moment that your baby is born,

You'll be fully present and aware,

Opening your eyes and hearing and seeing the baby for the very first time.

You'll be enveloped by a sense of joy,

Bonding and peace which extends to your baby wherever they are in the room,

Whether you're holding them or someone else's.

Now I want you to move forward in time and see yourself holding your new baby,

Loving that baby,

Being overwhelmed with feelings for the baby.

It's a wonderful picture in your mind and a wonderful feeling you have created.

Sense yourself as full of joy to attend to the baby's needs,

Feeling like a competent good mother who loves her baby.

Continue to feel the qualities and feelings of wellness within you.

Know that you'll naturally move toward the experience of wellness.

As things come up,

You'll deal with it in a healthy way and take steps towards greater wellness and vitality.

You'll find that your love for your child grows every single day and that the happiness and joy that they bring to your life is an ever constant presence.

Go on.

I'm going to count backwards from five to one When I count down from five to one if you're listening to this during the day and you need to wake up You will wake up when I reach the number one Able to easily go about the rest of your day feeling centered and grounded If you're listening to this at night and have fallen asleep for the night And the number one will be a signal to remain in a deep and peaceful sleep Only awakening if something or someone truly needs your attention When you awaken in the morning,

You'll feel refreshed re-energized and ready to go about the rest of your day You'll feel no ill effects or after effects from the hypnosis Quite the opposite Quite the opposite five four three two and one You
