Hello,
Dr.
Jill here.
Welcome to Smell the Roses,
A four-minute guided meditation.
We begin by being awake,
Alert,
And aware of our surroundings.
Focus on what is in front of you and notice what's going on around you.
Bringing attention from the busy mind to noticing any tension in the body.
Tension is simply our body trying to to tell us something.
What is your body telling you?
Perhaps your body is saying relax.
Well in lieu of a vacation allow yourself to slowly stretch and relax your jaw,
Neck,
Shoulders.
Imagine smelling the roses.
Breathe calm clarity into your mind and body as if smelling the roses and exhale tension and stress.
Allowing calm and clarity into your mind body and allowing stress to release its grip.
Pausing and breathing like this even for a few seconds each day can help clear our mind of the clutter and settle into a reasoned approach rather than being reactive to things that people say or do.
Our mind has been busy trying to make sense of things and keeping us aware so that we can be safe and smart.
Breathe in gratitude and exhale stress.
As you breathe notice your mind clearer and clearer.
Imagine the fog of stress in your mind and watch it begin lifting.
This fog is lifting and clearing a space for calm productive living.
You may be wondering how to how to get everything done or maybe you're worried about someone's health,
Paying bills or finding time to exercise.
Pausing and breathing for a few seconds can help clear our mind of the clutter and settle into a reasoned approach rather than being reactive and stressed.
Breathe calm clarity into any situation like smelling the roses and then exhale.
As you breathe notice the air as it moves in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Bringing calm and clarity with each breath infusing you with a new experience of inner peace and releasing anxiety and worry and stress.
With each breath and focusing on one step at a time you are moving closer and closer to being the very best version of you,
Authentic you,
Living in integrity with your thoughts words and actions.
You are discovering answers about ways to create a fulfilling peaceful purposeful life.
Enjoy,
Enjoy smelling the roses.
