Begin by taking 5 deep cleansing breaths and connect with your body for a few minutes.
Now imagine that it is morning.
You are in bed.
See yourself waking up.
Put yourself into the scene.
Live it.
Feel it.
And imagine yourself truly there.
Feel the sheets under and around you.
Feel the pillow cradling your head.
Imagine how it feels to wake up on a perfect morning as your future self.
As you open your eyes,
A gentle smile spreads across your lips and you inhale deep gratitude for a new day of life.
As you look around you,
Are you alone or is your beloved with you?
Now begin to imagine the day ahead.
What would your ideal morning be like?
See and sense yourself feeling really good inside and out,
Full of vibrant energy.
What happens next?
Do you get up and shower?
Do you pull yourself out of bed and have a quick run or do some yoga?
Or maybe you continue to lie there to meditate.
Do you get up and prepare a delicious breakfast for you and your family?
Take a few moments to imagine what the first few hours of a perfect day of life as the vital being that you are.
Once you've seen the early perfect morning,
Imagine the rest of your day from the perspective of your best,
Most authentic self.
Do you go to work or do you work from home?
Is this a day off for some shopping or me time?
Spend a few moments imagining the perfect day from how you engage with other people at work or in the shops to how you spend your lunchtime either alone or with friends.
See yourself going through this perfect day as a free flowing conscious being fully in touch with your divine perfection.
Imagine generously sharing yourself,
Your time or your expertise with others in a loving way,
Helping them to have a fabulous day.
Allow yourself to play a few scenes in your mind as you imagine how the future you is at ease,
Graceful,
Fun and playful or focused,
Productive and purposeful.
Now imagine that it is early evening.
Do you return home or meet up with friends for dinner or happy hour?
Are you with your beloved or enjoying some time alone?
Imagine yourself as a loving,
Friendly,
Joyful being who is accepted and welcomed by all,
Comfortable in your own skin and at peace.
Imagine the perfect evening as your perfect self.
Next,
Imagine what the perfect night is like.
Do you return home?
Do you visit a lover at an event,
A club,
A party,
A movie?
What is the perfect way to end your perfect day as your future fully extraordinary self?
Allow your imagination to run wild for a few minutes,
Imagining the most beautiful night you can.
As you bring the meditation to a close,
Imagine that you fall into bed,
Snuggled up in an ecstatic haze.
A full day and night of good living is behind you now,
And it's time to recharge.
You are in bed now,
You fall asleep in the same way that you woke up,
Full of buzzing,
Tingling energy,
Satisfied with a day fully lived,
A life truly blessed and work truly fulfilling.
You are the perfect example of a conscious being living a purpose-filled life.
Bask in these good feelings as you bring your attention to your body and breath.
Feel the life force pulsing throughout your entire body,
And take this feeling with you everywhere.
You and your future self are one in the same.
