Welcome.
Thank you for joining me in this meditation on equanimity.
We will be using the seven yoga meditation technique developed by Robert Taylor,
Founder of Seven Yoga.
Please sit comfortably in a chair with both feet flat on the ground and keeping your spine straight.
Let go of all tension,
Worry,
And fear.
Relax.
Inhale deeply.
Hold.
Exhale and relax.
Inhale deeply.
Hold.
Exhale and relax.
Place your hands together in prayer position and bring them up to your third eye,
Just above the center of your eyebrows.
And there,
Surrender to your higher self.
Lowering your hands to your heart center,
Give thanks,
Gratitude,
And praise to the teachers and masters who have preceded us on the path.
Really feel the gratitude.
Now rest your hands comfortably in your lap.
We will bring our awareness to each chakra with the intention of clearing any energetic blocks.
If you wish,
You may silently chant,
Om.
The first chakra is located at the base of the spine.
The color is red.
The second chakra is located just below the navel.
The color is orange.
Move your awareness up your spine to the third chakra in your solar plexus.
The color is yellow.
Move your awareness up your spine to the fourth chakra,
Located in the center of your chest.
The color is green.
The fifth chakra is located at your throat.
The color is turquoise.
The sixth chakra is located just above the center of your eyebrows,
At your third eye.
The color is indigo.
Move your awareness to your crown chakra,
Located at the top of your head.
The color is violet.
Now take the energy from the base of your spine and shoot it up through the top of your head and out to the universe.
Bathe in the downflow.
Place your awareness in your heart center,
In the center of your chest.
From there,
No equanimity.
No equanimity more deeply.
No equanimity deeper yet.
No equanimity deeper still.
Feel equanimity.
Feel equanimity more deeply.
Feel equanimity deeper yet.
Feel equanimity deeper still.
Merge into and become one with equanimity.
Let go.
Notice send golden light down to the bottom of your feet to the center of the earth and ground.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Namaste.
