Welcome and thank you for joining me in this meditation on gratitude.

We will be using the 7 yoga meditation technique developed by Robert Taylor,

Founder of 7 yoga.

Please sit comfortably in a chair with your feet flat on the ground and keep your spine straight.

Prior to beginning the meditation,

We will briefly clear our chakras.

Now gently close your eyes.

Let go of all tension,

Worry and fear.

Relax.

Inhale deeply.

Hold.

As you exhale,

Relax.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale and relax.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale and relax.

Placing your hands in prayer position,

Bring them up to your third eye,

Just above the center of your eyebrows.

And there,

Surrender to your higher self.

Keeping your hands in prayer position,

Lower them to your heart center.

And give thanks,

Gratitude and praise to the teachers and masters who have preceded us on the path.

Really feel that gratitude.

Place your awareness in your first chakra at the base of your spine.

The color is red.

Move your awareness to the second chakra,

Just below your navel.

The color is orange.

Move your awareness up your spine to your solar plexus,

Above your navel.

The color is yellow.

Move your awareness to the center of your chest,

The heart chakra.

The color is green.

Moving up to the fifth chakra,

The throat chakra.

The color is turquoise.

Take your awareness to your sixth chakra,

Just above the center of your eyebrows.

The color is indigo.

Take your awareness to your crown chakra at the top of your head.

The color is violet.

Now with your hands resting comfortably in your lap,

Bring your awareness to your heart center.

And there,

No gratitude.

No gratitude more deeply.

No gratitude deeper yet.

No gratitude deeper still.

Feel gratitude.

Feel gratitude more deeply.

Feel gratitude deeper yet.

Feel gratitude deeper still.

Immerge into and become one with gratitude.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Let go.

Namaste.

There is so much to be grateful for, from having basic needs met (air, water, shelter) and the magics of Nature to the lessons learned through life's experiences and challenges. "Thank you" can feel so inadequate sometimes so I applaud the invitation to go beyond the words and to take my gratitude deeper and deeper still. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. (Don't forget tacos and puppy breath and roses after rain... so much gratitude)
