Hi,
My friend.
Thank you so much for joining this short Mind-Body Connection practice for heartbreak.
My name is Diana.
I am a Mind-Body Connection coach,
A psychosomatic specialist,
And a meditation teacher.
First of all,
I am very sorry that you're going through this heartbreak.
I can't even imagine how difficult it may be for you now,
But trust me that with the time and your self-care,
These hard emotions,
Feelings,
And sensations will shift.
And I'm here with you today to support you.
Please find a comfortable position.
You may sit or stand up for this practice.
Make sure that your spine is straight and up.
Look around your space and notice some details without touching to any of them.
Just notice each of them and move to the next one.
Look around yourself,
Behind your back,
To the sides,
Moving your neck to all of the directions up and down.
Realize that you are safe at this moment.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,
Sending the fresh air down into your belly,
Relaxing all the muscles and organs there,
And allowing your body to settle down.
Take another deep breath in and exhale with a sigh,
Adding any sound that feels right to you at this moment.
And the final deepest breath in,
Sip a little bit extra at the top and let it all go,
Fully arriving into the here and now.
When I say the word heartbreak,
What body part reacts first to this word?
The first thought that you got is the right one.
Trust yourself.
It is a deeply personal experience and there is no wrong answer.
Move a little bit closer with your attention to that body part and pay attention to any physical sensations that arise there.
How does it feel?
You may describe it with words,
But most importantly,
Feel it.
Everything that is happening in that body part at this very moment.
Allow yourself to experience all of the sensations present.
They are just sensations and I'm here with you.
It is safe for you to experience them.
How does it feel there?
It might be tight,
Heavy,
Achy,
Or numb.
Even if it is numb,
Allow yourself to sink a little bit deeper to a deeper layer of sensations and discover what is really going on there.
Now add some movement to that body part.
Move with your feelings.
Gently move this body part in a way that feels natural and expressive.
Any kind of movement,
Big or small,
Wide or shallow.
Whatever your body wants to do now.
Don't worry about how it looks.
Just let your body guide you.
Give yourself grace of freedom and move as you need it now.
This might involve circular movements,
Swaying,
Stretching,
Or even shaking,
Or anything else that your body wants.
If it is difficult to move,
Imagine how your body would like to move when experiencing heartbreak.
Just imagine and try that.
Breathe.
Don't forget to inhale and exhale.
Do not freeze,
Do not shut down.
Expand.
You may add some sound to this movement.
Roar,
Scream,
Whatever is sitting inside of you,
Let it out.
Don't limit yourself in any way.
Allow yourself to be wild in any form or expression that feels authentic to you.
Allow yourself to feel the pain and discomfort without minimizing or dismissing them.
Embrace your emotions and let them flow freely.
Perhaps now you want to change the movement,
Or the sensations of the heartbreak move to somewhere else.
Embrace and follow it,
Allowing the movement in that change.
Honor your pain.
Give yourself permission to feel the pain without running away or shutting down.
Allow yourself to experience and express your emotions fully.
Do not expect anything but notice if your movements changed or your emotions shifted.
Allow the final moments to this movement before closing this practice and express every single bit of pain and emotions left.
Or just imagine that you are releasing the final drops of your pain and uncomfort.
Slowly close this movement and give yourself all the love you can.
Wrap your arms around yourself and hold yourself tightly in a hug.
You may kiss your shoulders or hands.
Tap into the sensations of love present now inside and around you.
This love is coming from you.
Feel this love and the sensations of love.
Yes,
Make it twice more.
And notice how slightly different it feels.
And make it ten times more.
Allow yourself to receive and experience this amplified love.
And make it a hundred times more.
This love is all for yourself.
Express love to yourself in a way that feels good to you now.
You might tell yourself loving affirmations and words of encouragement.
Anything that brings you a sense of comfort,
Peace,
Support and love.
Know that you are always loved.
As often as possible,
Remind yourself that you are loved unconditionally by yourself.
Or if you experience any resentment,
Just imagine that you are loved unconditionally by yourself.
Come back to this mind-body connection practice whenever you feel stuck or overwhelmed with emotions.
Continue to practice self-love and acceptance throughout your healing journey.
Remember,
You are worthy of love and compassion.
And you have the strength to overcome the heartbreak.
And if you need some extra support and guidance,
I invite you to my personal mind-body connection practices.
I wish you well and I will see you tomorrow.
Bye.
