While you're moving and preparing your space,
You can slow down your movement and you get to.
.
.
The meditation started already,
So you gather your mind in your body,
Your awareness in the body,
In the movement.
And you can start to scan your body from the feet to the face,
Maybe we can take a minute for that.
Now you try to apply enough concentration if possible,
And try to visit every part of your body.
And you relax.
Every part that you touch with your awareness,
A little bit like a caress,
You don't stop somewhere,
And every part that you caress,
You let go of tension if possible.
Try to stay on the case,
Don't go in your thoughts,
Let your body relax it.
Then you come to the face,
Slowly,
And when you arrive to the face then,
There you try to let go even more,
Relaxing the face in depth.
Now you have to make clear to your body-mind that although you're lying down,
Your intention is not sleep,
And it's okay if sleeps happen,
But that's not the reason why you lie down.
And try to sense how you would formulate the deepest reason.
Can sound like a prayer,
Unless you have resistance to prayers,
And it can be prayers to the inner also,
But it can sound like,
As if you're calling something,
Or giving the steering wheel,
You're not gonna drive yourself anymore for this meditation.
It's not easy to find words,
Or even the feeling of the reason why we lie down.
So it's okay if it's a bit confused.
And you can sense all the places where your body is touching the floor,
Or the mattress,
The sofa,
All the contact points.
And you can sense that you are well held,
That you don't have to hold your body yourself.
You can let go of all efforts.
And if you want to,
You can bring your attention to your breath,
Just sensing the breath,
But not like holding.
You put it there as if you have to put it somewhere anyway,
And then you'll see what it does.
Thank you.
You you you You'll probably have some different times,
Different moments in this meditation,
Maybe moments of sleep,
Moments of thoughts,
Moments of presence,
Maybe unsustained presence,
Moments of restlessness,
Maybe whatever.
You just welcome that.
This is part of the meditation.
You you And if you're drowned into sleep,
Then don't resist.
Don't try to resist,
But be curious.
What is happening to you in sleep?
Where are you?
And when you come out of sleep,
Then this question can be alive in you.
What happened?
Where was I?
What happened?
And using memory,
We can try to sense where we were.
You you you you you Maybe your mind is very active.
That's how it is.
Can't do much about it,
This posture.
You can always come back to the breath gently,
Making again your intention and wish and longing very clear.
But it may again go back in the same story.
And that's how it is.
And there you have to trust also.
That's just how it is.
Or maybe you can notice that your thoughts are strange,
A little bit like dreams.
There's less controlling now.
So it may be,
It may appear very different.
Just interesting to notice.
You you you Maybe you navigate between sleep and wake.
Maybe you find some places where you are not sleeping,
Yet you are not aware of yourself meditating anymore.
And in between,
A different color,
A different shade,
Interesting space.
Also a space of yourself,
Where a part of yourself is sleeping,
Yet something is still there.
You you you you Maybe you have moments where you're fully present,
You're not doing anything to stay present.
No effort,
It's just there.
You couldn't do anything to be absent,
You're just there.
Just interesting as well.
And it's not gonna last.
You can notice that nothing lasts.
You you you you you Maybe sometime you can sense that there is a big space and not much Self.
Not much presence of thoughts,
Constructions,
Personality.
There's just a big space.
And maybe sometime you can sense that space,
Even when there are thoughts,
Daydreams,
Stories.
You you you you you you you you you It is very likely that since the beginning of this meditation,
You went through so many different kinds of spaces,
Different and in different intensity as well.
Life is playing in you,
Happening in you,
Showing up with all its colors and forms.
If you have enough time you can just stay there,
And let it come and go.
Everything.
Trusting that within all this,
It is actually very intelligent.
It's not just random.
It is extremely intelligent,
Resilient,
Doing exactly what is needed to not intervene.
Let it be.
Be curious and open.
