Meditation to clear painful memories and negative emotions.
Find a comfortable place where you can sit or lay down and remain undisturbed for the next 10 minutes.
When you are ready,
Close your eyes and allow for the muscles around your eyes to relax.
Inhaling through your nose,
Exhaling out of your mouth,
Imagine that you can release the stress,
The tensions as you breathe out.
Inhaling,
Relaxation,
Tranquility,
Exhaling stress and tension.
Feeling your lungs with this tranquility,
With this calm as you inhale and releasing any stress and anxiety as you exhale and empty your lungs.
Now think about a memory or a difficult emotional situation that still brings up stress,
Anxiety,
Worry.
Something that takes you out of a state of complete relaxation and inner peace.
A memory that you want to release,
That you want to let go of.
Unresolved emotions that you are still carrying with you and that you want to let go of.
And as you bring up this memory,
As you bring up the unresolved emotion,
Notice where you feel the tension,
The contraction in your physical body.
You may feel it at different locations.
If that is the case,
Simply choose the area in your body where you feel it the most.
Bringing your awareness into this space and breathing through it.
Creating space.
Breathing in relaxation and inner peace,
Exhaling tension and contraction.
Now imagine a small version of you stepping into that space.
Visualize what that looks like,
What that feels like.
However you visualize that area in your body where you are holding the memory or the unresolved emotion and you are stepping into it.
And as you step into it you are looking all around.
360 degrees looking at this unresolved pain,
This painful memory from all angles.
Now using your physical eyes while remaining relaxed,
Begin to circulate your eyes.
At first slowly,
Then faster and faster.
Looking up to the side,
Down to the other side,
Back,
Forward and keep circulating the eyes in this way.
Now only rotating the eye 360 degrees all around.
As if you were looking into each and every area of your brain.
And as you look all around you are looking at this memory,
This unresolved emotion with your physical eye.
Allying for emotions,
Allying for other associated memories,
Allying for sensations or whatever comes up to come up.
And allowing it to clear,
To release as you continue rotating your eyes faster and faster with the intention of clearing and releasing this memory from your consciousness.
Faster and faster.
With ease,
With calm.
Maybe you start seeing this part of your body,
This area of your body differently,
This memory,
This emotion differently now.
Allow yourself to experience and notice the changes that occur as you continue rotating your eyes.
Faster and faster.
Also imagine that in this area that you have stepped in,
There is bright white light flooding into this area.
Very very bright light.
And the light is all around the area,
To the top,
To the bottom,
To the sides,
To the front,
To the back,
360 degrees surrounding this area.
And you look at this light and you also follow with your eyes still moving faster and faster,
Following the light,
Looking at the light 360 degrees.
The light is clearing,
Purifying,
Cleansing this area,
Resolving this emotion,
Releasing this memory,
Emptying.
As you continue to flood this area with pure white light,
Bright pure white light,
You feel lighter and lighter,
Brighter and brighter.
And now you step out of this area and assessing how your body feels,
How this whole space feels within your body.
If you find that you are more relaxed,
That the memory has dissolved,
Is only a faint memory that is not charged emotionally,
You can come back to the present moment through your breath by deepening your breath.
If you find that there is still someone rests on stress,
You can still feel tension in this area of your body,
You can still feel this lack of resolution,
The pain in this memory,
And you can continue with the practice stepping into this space or any other space in your body while you are holding painful memories and clearing it with this process,
Enjoying the feeling of lightness and clarity,
Ease after you've completed the practice.
Slowly deepening your breath,
Feeling yourself in your body completely awake and alert,
Feeling good,
Feeling great,
Feeling wonderful,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes,
And when you are ready,
Gently opening your eyes.
