Let's begin this meditation to dissolve fear.
I invite you to sit on a chair,
Comfortable chair and just place your feet first firmly on the floor.
If you can take your shoes off and be barefooted that's even better.
Now breathe in deep,
A deep inhale and exhale and just let the breath go and become aware of this moment.
Breathe in nice and deep,
A deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep inhale and slowly and gently you exhale and let the breath go.
Let's do this again,
Breathing in nice and deep,
A deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep inhale and a slow gentle exhale and now let's channel our energies with the Uttar Bodhi Mudra,
A simple finger lock.
I want you to join the tips of your thumbs and the tips of your first or index finger and interlock the rest of your fingers.
Now place the tips of your thumb at an area on your body,
Just three fingers or four fingers above your navel,
The area of your solar plexus.
For the rest of this meditation we keep our fingers in this position.
This helps us to channel peace and courage and remove fear.
Let's now visualize your fear.
I know it's there.
I want you to visualize it.
I want you to channel it,
To bring it up.
It's okay right now to bring up your fear.
Just allow that fear to flood out and when you do that there is fear.
I'm afraid.
I am afraid in this moment.
I am fearful in this moment,
Right?
And now I want you to switch that.
Whenever you channelize this fear or whenever you're in the midst of this fear you are afraid.
Like right now.
I now want you to switch this fear.
I feel fear.
I feel fearful.
Just say this to yourself right now.
I feel fear.
Fear is just a feeling like joy,
Like happiness and right now I'm feeling fear.
I am NOT fear.
It doesn't overtake my whole being in this moment.
Right now I feel fear.
Know that it's just a feeling and now I want you to lift your feet off the floor a couple of inches and then firmly plant your feet back on the floor.
Nothing can shake me.
I'm firmly planted,
Firmly grounded.
Feel that connection with Mother Earth.
Nothing can shake me and slowly that confidence will come back.
Now take a deep breath in.
Deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep inhale and as you do that I bring in the feeling of courage from Mother Earth.
I'm channeling up courage for myself and as you breathe in I want you to breathe it in right into the area of your solar plexus.
I breathe in courage.
I breathe in courage in this moment.
I feel peace.
I breathe in courage in this moment.
I feel peace and as you exhale send that fear right down your body through your feet and back to the earth.
I let go of the feeling of fear.
It's just a feeling.
I let go of the feeling of fear and you breathe in as you breathe in.
I breathe in courage.
I breathe in peace.
I feel peace in this moment and as you exhale I let go of the feeling of fear.
I let go of the feeling of fear.
I do this because I love myself and as you go forward get to know your fear.
Get to know the subject of fear because remember that fear is dissolved with knowledge.
Fear is removed with knowledge.
The more knowledge you have about your fear the less you will fear it and thank you for joining me.
