Greetings everyone,
My name is Denzel and today's meditation is a meditation of gratitude.
However,
It's a slightly different meditation.
We're going on a journey today.
It's a bus ride that we're going to take and that bus ride is a ride of gratitude.
So standing outside our home right now is a nice colorful bus,
Different colors,
Blue,
Greens,
Reds,
Oranges,
Pinks,
Purples.
It's got all the colors of vibrancy and all the colors of gratitude.
But before we make this journey,
We're sitting at home nicely and comfortably.
So let's begin before we take this journey to give thanks for ourselves.
I thank you,
Universe,
That you've given me this life and given it to me in all its abundance.
Today,
I thank you.
And as we're ready to begin this journey,
Let's keep in mind that when we're taking this journey,
Who is it that we'd like to say thank you to?
Or what is it that we'd like to say thank you for?
So we step outside.
It is a beautiful,
Sunshiny morning in your hometown.
And you're going to step on the bus of gratitude.
You have other folks traveling with you.
Some you may know,
Some you may not.
And as we go along,
We invite into this bus of gratitude friends,
Family,
Colleagues,
Whoever we think would love to be on this bus of gratitude.
So let's begin this journey.
The doors close and we're off on the bus.
And as you sit back and you see a beautiful,
Leafy boulevard on both sides of you,
Lovely trees shining up at the summer.
It's nice and happy.
Everything is happy.
There's a glimmer in the air.
The flowers are smiling.
And you are happy.
And as you travel along,
You think of your home that you've just left,
The place that you're most comfortable in,
Your secure little side of the world.
I thank you,
Universe,
For giving me my home.
Because as you leave it,
Sometimes we just tend to miss it.
The comforts of home,
The warmth of home,
The joys of being home.
Let's give thanks.
And as the bus journey goes,
We might be making our first stop.
Your first stop is a family member you'd like to invite onto the bus of gratitude.
Your dad,
Your mom,
Your lover,
Somebody that you want to thank within this week for just being there for you.
Let's step outside the bus,
Invite them in so that we can thank them.
I thank you for being in my life.
Let's just think of what we can thank them for and what we're going to say.
And in your mind's eye,
Once they're sitting next to you in the bus,
Thank them for what they are to you and what they've done with your life and to your life.
This is the time.
You might invite more than one person.
That's completely your choice.
More than one family member,
Your choice.
Breathe that in nice and deep.
And as we're traveling along,
We see on the side,
Nice food stalls.
It reminds us of eating.
We might be a little hungry from the journey.
So we pull out a sandwich and thank the universe for the food on our table.
That's a comfort of life,
That I have plenty of drinking water and food to eat and I don't go hungry.
Thank you,
Universe,
For that.
Breathe that in nice and deep.
And as we're traveling along,
The bus is going this easy journey.
It's a lovely sunny morning.
You're enjoying the view.
You're passing a little bit of hill.
You're down in a dale and now you're traveling up again and it's beautiful.
And it reminds you of your friends,
Some of whom you may have shared a journey with,
Someone who's really close to you.
Let's stop for a moment because just by the side is my bestest friend.
And today we are going to give thanks to him or her for being in our life.
I thank you,
Universe,
For friends like this,
For the strength of our friendship,
For the love we share,
For the joys of just being there for each other.
Each and every one of us have one person in our life like this.
Let's give thanks today.
And as we're traveling along,
We pass a mall and big right in front of the mall is lovely television sets and washing machines and cleaners and the like.
And it reminds us of the comforts in life that we have.
I thank you,
Universe,
Today for all the comforts in my life that make life easy for me.
For instance,
My mobile phone,
The washing machine,
The dishwasher,
Whatever it is that makes my life easy,
The gadgets in my life.
And today I thank you for them,
Universe.
Breathe that in nice and deep.
As we're traveling along,
It's a nice,
Comfortable journey.
It's easy.
And suddenly,
As we're traveling along,
We pass a place that we're very familiar with.
This could be your office or this could be a place that you visit regularly for work.
It may be a bank.
It may be a tax office.
And there we meet people regularly,
People we meet often.
Let's thank the universe for all those people who serve us,
Who help us,
Who are with us,
Who make our lives easier.
And let's bring all of them to mind right now.
Maybe the Korea person,
Maybe the guy who brings in the supplies,
Maybe the Amazon guy,
Whoever it is that makes our life easier.
Let's bring them to mind and thank each and every one of them for making our lives easier today.
And this bus journey is getting a lot of fun.
We're enjoying it.
So let's,
As we're traveling along,
Keep in mind that the beauty that we see around us is nature.
And we're traveling through this beautiful forest area right now.
It's a lovely forest.
It's green.
The birds are chirping.
We can hear them.
There is a little monkey that's actually jumping from tree to tree.
There's a lovely stream by the side as this bus ambles along a nice,
Easy,
Quiet road.
Thank you,
Universe,
For nature in my life.
Thank you,
Universe,
For the bounty of nature that gives me everything that makes my life easy.
Today,
I'd like to thank you for it.
It's a beautiful moment.
Just thanking nature for her bounty.
And as we're traveling,
We come into the city and in the city,
We find strangers.
So let's thank a stranger today,
Somebody who we know,
Who we can picture,
Who's a stranger to us.
Maybe somebody at the tube station,
Maybe somebody who filled gas with,
Maybe somebody who always wanted to talk to,
But never have actually got around to it.
Let's thank them for everything that they do in our lives.
Or even if that they don't do it,
We're just surprising them.
Let's surprise them today.
And as this bus is traveling,
We make a surprise stop.
It's traveling along.
And there's this big mall.
And there's one thing that you would like for yourself,
That you've always wished for.
And just by the side of the bus,
There it is,
Standing there with your name written on it.
This is for you.
One thing that you've always desired,
That you've always wished for.
Today,
It is yours.
Let's thank the universe for stuff and for things that will come into our lives in the near future.
Maybe the week,
Maybe a month,
Maybe two months.
Let's thank him in advance.
I thank you,
Universe,
For all of those beautiful moments that will come into my life.
And as we get onto the bus,
This beautiful bus of gratitude again,
Suddenly the bus stalls.
There's a puncture,
A flat tire.
And all of us who are on the bus have to get off the bus as the bus is repaired.
And as we stand there,
By the side of the road is a beautiful popsicle machine,
An ice cream vendor standing there.
So all of us have ice cream.
And as that is happening,
You think that sometimes there are setbacks in life.
And how the setbacks,
You don't see them,
Are always opportunities.
Opportunities for learning,
Opportunities for growing.
So today,
Let's bring to mind one setback that turned out to be an opportunity and let's thank the universe for it.
And as we slowly and gently get back onto the bus,
Everybody's laughing,
Everybody's happy.
It's a joyous moment.
The bus has started again and it ambles along joyfully.
You know,
It's one of those buses that has a lilt to it.
It kind of gently sways you and you're quite happy to be there.
And as you're traveling,
You pass a cemetery.
This too is life.
And as you pass the cemetery,
Let's give thanks for all those people who were in our life,
But passed on.
For all the joyous moments that we had with them,
You can bring to mind one person or more than one.
Today,
We are in gratitude for all of them,
All those who have passed before us.
That we have shared moments of joy,
Moments of sorrow,
Moments of happiness,
Moments of togetherness with.
Let's bring them to mind and thank the universe for them.
And as we slowly and gently as we are traveling slowly and easily,
Like all good things,
This bus journey is coming to an end.
I thank you for being on the bus.
It's going to drop you outside your residence.
Happy that you are in this moment.
I'm happy that you joined me on this meditation.
My name is Densler Connell.
I'm the driver of this bus of gratitude.
Love and light to each and every one of you.
And remember always,
You can come back to this bus of gratitude whenever you so please to make a journey of gratitude for yourself.

Beautiful. Thank you Denzil β€π₯° I'm really surprised that I never left a review for this one before. I'm quite sure I listened to it before. I've been intending to listen to it again for ages. IT is constantly sending me a feed full of way more meditations than I have time for. I know this one is great, but my curiosity had me opening more and more doors. There are so many options that it almost becomes overwhelming. Probably what I need is to get more focused. This meditation is one that I could benefit from doing every day.
