Hi my name is Denzil and through this short meditation we're going to raise our energies.
Are you feeling low right now?
It might be because you're disappointed with something or frustrated with something or things are not going your way.
Now it's very easy to just sit down and do nothing about it or you could raise your energies up.
How do you raise your energies?
This meditation is going to teach us how to do just that.
I want you to sit in a comfortable position.
If you're sitting on a chair please keep your feet firmly planted on the floor and apart.
Sit straight,
Spine straight,
Close your eyes and now take a nice deep breath and with that breath we bring in energy.
Remember with every breath I bring in the energy of life.
I want you to breathe in nice and deep,
A nice deep inhale as deep as you can and then slowly and gently you exhale and as you exhale pull your abdomen in towards your spine,
Pull it in,
Pull it in,
Pull it in and now breathe in nice and deep again deep,

Deep inhale right to the top of your shoulders and slowly and gently you exhale and let it go,
Let it go,
Let it go.
Let's do this again breathing in nice and deeper deep,

Deep inhale right to the top of the shoulders and slowly and gently you exhale and you let it go,

Let it go and now while you're breathing in deep I want you to think of an energy that you want in this moment,
That you would like to have.
An energy that will change your mood,
An energy that will change how you're feeling right now.
So let's look at say the word joy or the word strength.
What is it that you're lacking in this moment that if you had this word you would raise your energies up.
So if you think of joy or strength or maybe discipline or maybe whatever the energy is in this moment that you would like to use to raise your energies,
Let's think about it.
Deep breath in just thinking about the energy changes how you feel it changes your mood.
Now I want you to say this to yourself I have strength or I am joyful or I am filled with love in this moment.
Remember this is the word that you are lacking in this moment.
So breathe it in again I am filled with joy and slowly you exhale and let it go,

Let it go.
Breathe in again use the word that is your energy word and slowly and gently you exhale and let it go,

Let's do this again nice deep breath and deep,

Deep inhale and a slow gentle easy exhale just using the word and breathing it in into every cell in your body.
Every cell is filled with joy for instance or filled with strength or filled with love or filled with wisdom.
Just breathe it in again deep,

Deep inhale right to the top of the shoulders and slowly and gently you let it go,

Now that we've understood how to do it I want you to do it on your own just breathing in deep holding the word in your mind space as you breathe in and slowly and gently you exhale and you let it go,

We'll do this nine times let's do this together are you ready I want you to sit up straight take a deep breath in and let's begin deep inhale bringing in the energy of the word that you wish to have in your body and in your mind right now and slowly and gently you exhale and let it go,

The word now fills every cell of your body it's come alive to the sound of the word to the vibration of the word to the energy of the word and now let's breathe in nice and deep again for the last time a deep,

Deep inhale announcing the word to yourself I feel strong,
I feel joy,
Whatever that word might be feel it within you and exhale gently,

Gently and now you can open your eyes Do you know why we did this nine times?
Because according to ancient Indian scriptures and treatises on energy when you repeat a word nine times you lock the energy of that word within you So right now you've locked a high energy word within you You can do this as many times during the day as you want to bring up your energies to enliven you to make you full of joy.
