
Feeling Safe Meditation
A gently guided journey into your sacred harmonious space allows stress to drift away and reveals an inner temple of calm well-being. Each time you experience this meditation your confidence and feeling of safety will expand.
Transcript
So just make yourself nice and comfortable.
Allow yourself this beautiful quiet space in your home,
In your mind and in your body.
And just place your hands in your lap or on your knees and if you are lying down just place your arms beside you,
Palms facing up or down.
Adjust your body and find the most comfortable position for you.
Gently close your eyes and know that this is a time to restore your harmony,
To come back to you,
To come back to your centre.
Become aware of your breathing.
Notice how the air feels as it enters and leaves your body.
Breathe it in.
Draw your awareness within.
Feel the breath of life flowing inward and as it flows outward just gently gently let go.
Relax.
On the next in-breath just imagine that you follow the air as it flows in through your nose,
Down your throat and into your lungs.
And then follow it as it moves outward.
Breathing out through your mouth and just feel how good it feels to breathe.
And know that you can control how you feel by simply slowing down your breathing.
Isn't that wonderful to know?
Breathe in and breathe out.
And imagine that the room is filling with a beautiful sense of calm and peace,
Of relaxation and harmony.
And you can see this beautiful feeling as a colour,
Your favourite colour.
What colour is around you today?
What colour fills the room?
What colour are you breathing in and breathing out?
This colour brings a smile to your face,
A smile to your whole body,
A feeling of ease and safety.
Allow your breathing to become longer and deeper.
When you were born your first physical action was to breathe in and receive the breath of life.
Your second was to breathe out,
Giving it back in a new form.
How fully are you receiving and giving?
For one does not have to be in the same place as you.
How fully are you receiving and giving?
For one does not occur without the other.
Often we are very good at giving,
Giving to others,
Whether that be physically,
Emotionally,
But often we are not so good at receiving.
It can take a lot of courage for someone to say something to you,
So allow yourself to receive it,
Don't diminish it.
Don't say to them,
Oh no no no,
Or make an excuse.
Allow yourself to receive it.
Let the cycle move around and around,
Otherwise you break the cycle and you begin to give your own energy away and you diminish yourself.
Open your heart to receive all of your dreams and desires,
Don't push them away,
Don't place obstacles,
Just open your heart to receive.
And just take a moment now to notice if your breathing is feeling bigger,
Or maybe it feels constricted or sticky,
Or uneven.
If it does,
Let's imagine drawing a golden infinity sign,
A figure eight on its side over your lungs.
Even if your breathing feels fine,
Still draw the golden infinity sign over your lungs,
To feel a greater depth of breathing.
Just keep drawing it with your imagination over your lungs until your breathing becomes even and slow.
This is a way to bring balance and peace to your lungs,
To allow yourself to take more and more of your energy away.
Allow yourself to take more and more of the breath of life.
Go gently,
All is well,
As you let go of any constricted,
Sticky or uneven ideas or situations that your breathing is alerting you to.
Take a last deep breath in,
Really deep,
Take it all the way down,
Hold it,
Hold it.
And now fully breathe out.
And now let's allow our breath to be natural and unforced.
Just let it become what it wants to become,
As you observe and experience it.
And now let's move our focus to our body.
Allow your body to just relax.
Feel it sinking into whatever you are sitting or lying upon,
Sinking deeper and deeper.
Sinking deeper and deeper.
Scan over your body from head to toe and draw that golden infinity symbol anywhere that you are tense,
Tight or sore,
To bring about balance and harmony.
Feel your whole body relax.
Feel your shoulders drop down and allow your jaw to just let go and relax.
And let all things just be.
In front of you now is a golden staircase.
It will lead you to your sacred place,
An harmonious place that restores your balance,
Restores your sense of complete safety in yourself,
Bring a strong foundation.
When you are in balance,
You can realize and fulfill your potential.
And in the days following this meditation,
The next steps to take on your path of dreams will begin to reveal themselves.
Step on the golden stairs.
As you do,
A familiar sense of knowing moves through you.
You've been here before.
Tiny sparks of energy flicker and sparkle as you feel yourself being drawn downward,
Floating in the air.
And as you move down the stairs,
Let's count down,
Starting from five.
No,
You are moving toward your sacred center.
You feel completely relaxed.
You feel your body moving toward your sacred center.
No,
You are moving toward your sacred center.
You feel completely relaxed,
Calm,
At peace.
Four.
With each step,
Feel yourself letting go as your body relaxes and your mind becomes quiet.
Quieter.
Balance and harmony are in motion right now,
And will continue after the meditation.
Three.
As you move down the stairs,
Let go a little more and feel a loving,
Supportive energy moving around you.
Two.
This loving,
Supportive energy spreads through your whole body and mind,
Harmonizing and balancing even more.
Step by step,
You move all the way down to the bottom.
One.
You have arrived at your sacred center.
Let go.
Let go as you step into your center of allowing.
Your sacred space may be a room,
A place in nature,
A temple,
A place in the heart,
A place in the mind,
A place in the heart,
A place in the soul,
A place in the heart,
A place in the soul,
A place in the soul,
A place in the spirit,
A place in the mind.
Whatever you see and feel will be right for you.
This is your inner journey Go beyond who you think you are,
For you are so much more.
And allow yourself to bring the word happiness to your mind.
Happiness is your natural state of being.
Being happy.
Being happy in your life is a simple,
Is simply meaning,
To embrace and accept.
So being happy in your life is as simple as embracing and accepting.
How can you embrace anything if you don't accept?
If you don't accept it the way that it is right now.
So allow all to be as it is.
Allow yourself to be who you are and let everybody else be who they are.
And let everybody else be who they are.
Happiness is a path of least resistance or a path of most allowance.
Deep within your sacred space you begin to feel your truth and wisdom.
The concept acceptance and non-acceptance are only opinions.
You can change any non-acceptance into acceptance by simply changing your perspective.
Right now give yourself permission to look at every aspect of your life from a new perspective.
Draw your golden infinity symbol on any imbalances that arise to bring them into harmony.
Now deep in your sacred space it is time to feel and experience the eternal nature of your creativity.
You can initiate your genius by asking yourself what is it that I truly want to create?
I will leave you here for just a minute or so and call you when it is time to return.
Your mind has become clear and precise.
Decisions can now be easily made.
Inspiring ideas will drop into your mind now or in the following days and weeks to come.
It is time now to return from your deep inner sacred place.
See the golden stairs in front of you and step onto them.
As you move upward we will count from five to one.
Five.
One step at a time you move slowly upward feeling aligned with every part of you.
Four.
As you move up the stairs you feel ready to move and create your life bringing with you all that you have just experienced.
Three.
Your golden infinity sign moves into your heart.
You can draw it in your mind's eye and use it in your physical life whenever you want to to bring balance and harmony.
One step at a time you are moving upward.
Two.
You're nearly at the top of the stairs and you begin to focus on your breath.
Breathe in and out.
With each breath feel yourself gently moving back to your physical body.
Be at one with you.
Feel the wonderment of creation as you manifest your life through your physical body.
You are now at the top of the golden staircase.
One.
In your own time call all parts of yourself back to this moment,
This place.
Be fully present in the radiance of you.
Step into your life and when you feel ready open your loving balanced eyes and welcome to your new life.
