Denise here and welcome to a lightness of being relaxation meditation.

Find a quiet space to sit or lie down.

Place your hands on your lap or your knees.

If you are lying down place your arms beside you,

Palms facing up or down.

Adjust your body and find the most comfortable position.

Gently close your eyes,

Become aware and sense your body.

Relax your shoulders,

Feeling them drop downward.

Relax your jaw and begin to slow down your breathing.

With each breath you feel yourself relaxing more and more.

Allow any thoughts,

Troubles from the day or the evening to gently flow from your mind,

Knowing this is a very special time for you.

Feel the breath of life flowing,

Nourishing and healing you as it relaxes and calms you.

Flowing in,

Flowing out.

Each breath becomes longer,

Deeper,

More even and calm.

Imagine a fluffy white cloud floating in front of you.

Place on the cloud all that you no longer need or want.

Any worries,

Fears,

Anxieties,

Let them all go and watch them drift away.

Breathe in the breath of life as you make this time sacred for you.

Giving yourself this time to meditate honors and respects the life that you are.

You are beginning to care about how you feel.

This is how you love yourself.

No matter what you experience during the meditation,

Know that you will always relax and always heal on some level.

Words will always flow in your mind during meditation.

We are not trying to move them all away.

You are just going to allow them to be there and not follow or attach other words to them.

Observe any words as they float in and out and take your awareness to the space between the words.

As you focus on the space,

A tiny point of light begins to form and shine through the words.

As you hold your attention at this place,

The point of light expands,

Becoming larger and larger,

Moving outward in all directions,

Pushing all the words further and further away from each other until all that is left is the space in between.

A beautiful space of silence,

Peace and quiet.

A lightness of being.

It is like turning down the volume of your thoughts.

Anytime you feel yourself following words and stories,

Just bring your focus back to the space between the words and breathe.

If you find outside noises are distracting,

Imagine a bubble of green light floating in front of you and gently place all outside noises and distractions into the bubble.

Now push that bubble away and see it float away.

The noises and distractions move further and further away until they are way,

Way off in the distance.

If any noises or distractions come up throughout the meditation,

Just gently direct them to the green bubble as you move deeper and deeper into you.

Focus on you and the importance of giving this time and space to you.

Now imagine crystal pure white light flowing into the room.

White light is the universal life force that flows within and around all that is living.

It flows from the highest creative source and it is filled with unconditional love,

Healing and wisdom.

This light is filling the whole room all the way to the corners,

Illuminating everything in the room,

Illuminating you.

Breathe in light,

Feel waves of unconditional love and healing flowing to you.

The light permeates and heals all parts of you by flooding each cell with beautiful healing light.

It sheds light into the darkest corners of you to transform and heal.

It illuminates childhood dreams and passions that you may have forgotten about and it lights up new parts of you ready to be found.

The light acts as a key that unlocks doors into the new parts of you,

Unlocking love,

Beauty,

Creativity,

Ancient wisdom and all of your answers.

As you breathe in the light,

Feel yourself becoming lighter and lighter.

Be illuminated by your own radiance.

Open your heart and mind to receive your brilliance.

We will stay here for a little while and I will call you when it is time to come back.

Gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

Breathe in light and breathe out light.

With each breath,

Feel yourself gently moving back to your physical body.

Be at one with you.

Allow yourself to be embraced by the magnificence of your physical.

Call all parts of yourself back to this moment,

This place and when you feel ready,

Open your eyes and smile.
