This guided meditation will bring support to those who feel fatigued and exhausted, which can be a result of undergoing cancer treatment. We will focus on our breathing, a short body scan, visualisation, and affirmations to release any emotions you are experiencing at this time. Transcript

Either sitting or laying down.

Gently close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out of your mouth,

And then return to the rhythm of your natural breath.

You have nowhere else to be,

Nothing else to do.

Bring your awareness to your whole body.

Feel the connection between your body and the surface you are sitting or laying on.

Sense how your body is feeling.

If you find any discomfort or pain,

Move your focus to that part of your body.

Put your hands there if you feel the desire to.

Take a deep breath in and out with the intention of acknowledging the discomfort and releasing it.

Clear it from your body,

Releasing it to leave your body,

From your hands or feet,

Into the heavens to be healed.

If any thoughts or emotions come to mind,

Just observe and release.

Don't get caught up in them.

Be the observer,

Not the participant.

Continue to breathe in and out,

Filling your body up with green healing energy.

Starting at the toes,

Filling your feet,

Your lower legs,

Pubic and pelvic areas,

Chest and all your organs including the large intestine,

Small intestine,

Liver,

Kidneys,

Spleen,

Gallbladder,

Pancreas and lungs.

Fill your throat,

See the green energy fill up and surround all of your organs as well as down both of your upper arms,

Elbows,

Lower arms,

Wrists,

Fingers.

Also filling your neck,

Forehead and whole head.

See and feel this green nervous system,

Immune system,

A quiet kindness to your body,

Restoring damaged cells,

Soothing them,

Healing them,

Dissolving any disease,

Any damage at the cellular level,

Rejuvenating,

Renewing the cells,

Bringing balance to the whole body.

Feel the calm and rest in this for a few minutes and allow the green energy to flow,

Restore and heal in and around your body.

This green energy is going to dissolve and transmute any emotions that come up,

Any beliefs or thoughts that emerge.

With intention,

Allow your body to release any feelings of stress,

Tension,

Resistance,

Irritation and frustration.

Feelings of limitation,

Fighting to get things done,

Feelings of expectation on your body and your mind,

Pushing yourself beyond your limits,

Feeling drained,

Exhausted,

Fatigued,

Helpless or hopeless.

Any other beliefs that come to mind,

Acknowledge them and let them go,

You don't need to hold on to those any more.

Lighten the burden on your body,

Remove any layers of heaviness,

Stress,

Expectations,

Self-loathing,

Letting people down,

Disappointment and restoring your body calm.

Feel your body get lighter as you release what no longer serves you,

Continue to breathe in and out,

Check in if you have any tightness,

Relax that part of your body,

Your forehead,

Your jaw,

Your neck and shoulders,

Your hands,

You are safe now to just be.

As you breathe,

Start to fill up your body,

Starting at your toes with pink loving energy,

This energy is going to push the green energy out,

Until your whole body is full and surrounded with pink loving energy.

Take your time and fill all of your organs and your whole body with this pink loving energy.

Allow this pink loving energy to bring a warmth,

Loving kindness to your body,

Mind and soul.

Feel the warmth fill you to overflowing,

Like a big loving hug.

This pink loving energy is bringing with it and settling on and in your body the feeling of rest,

Of acceptance.

Accepting your body needs to rest.

Accepting your body needs rest to heal.

Accepting feeling exhausted and fatigued and that this is a temporary thing.

Accepting you are loving yourself right now and it is time to listen to your body and nurture it,

Be kind to it,

Love it and allow it to rest and heal.

Thank your body for doing such a great job,

Working to support and heal you,

To build your resilience,

Your stamina,

Your lung capacity,

Your ability to move and exercise and participate in everyday activities.

This will all come,

It is time now to listen to your body and nurture and love it and support it to let it help you.

Allow any resistance to be dissolved and healed by the pink energy,

Replacing it with self-love and self-support.

Allow your body to lighten,

Release,

Relax and move your attention now to your whole body and feel the connection between your body and the surface you are sitting or laying on.

Slowly wriggle your fingers and start to make slow and gentle movements,

Move your head slowly from side to side,

Take a deep breath in and out.

Slowly,

When you are ready,

Open your eyes and gently stretch and move as you bring your awareness back to this room.

Give yourself a hug and thank yourself for taking this time to love and honour your body and thank you for sharing this time with me.
