This meditation is to help us balance the energy in our bodies.
Throughout our lives we often experience events or situations that cause us stress.
This disrupts our nervous system and creates an energetic imbalance in our body.
Our energy loses its natural rhythm and flow.
We want to remove any stuckness and balance out our energy.
Restore a sense of wholeness physically,
Emotionally and spiritually.
We are going to do this by placing our hands on our body and let our hands send warmth to different energy centres and bring them back into balance.
Let's start by finding a quiet place and making ourselves comfortable,
Either sitting or laying down.
If you are comfortable to,
Close your eyes or lower your gaze and slowly settle yourself.
Take a few deep breaths in your nose and out of your mouth.
Set the intention as you breathe throughout this meditation that you are breathing in calm,
Loving,
Healing energy and breathing out any fears,
Stress or emotion that is ready to be released.
Notice your breathing.
Notice how the breath comes into your body.
How it fills your tummy,
Lungs and chest.
And how it is released through your chest,
Lungs and tummy.
Notice and follow your own rhythm.
Move your right hand and rest it on your forehead and your left hand just below your belly button.
Rest here for a couple of minutes and imagine your hands are sending love and healing to your body.
Feel the warmth grow and the energy flow.
Move your right hand and lightly place it on your throat and your left hand just above your belly button.
Rest here for a couple of minutes and imagine your hands are sending love and healing to your body.
Feel the warmth grow and the energy flow.
Move your right hand now to your chest,
Just above your breastbone and your left hand to just below your breastbone.
Rest here for a couple of minutes and imagine your hands are sending love and healing to your body.
Feel the warmth grow and the energy flow.
Move your hands to your heart and just settle here for a little while sending love and kindness to your heart.
As you breathe in,
Feel your heart fill with a warm golden light which gets bigger each breath you take.
Feel it fill your entire body and overflow out your hands and feet.
See it fill your auric field all around your body.
Allow the golden light to dissolve any impurities in and around your body.
Bring your hands to settle by the sides of your body and allow your body to sit in the stillness,
The quiet and the calm.
Feel the energy flowing freely throughout your body.
Focus now on your whole body.
Notice the connection between your body and the floor,
The cushion or the chair.
Slowly bring your awareness back to where you are.
Slowly wriggle your fingers and your toes and start to make slow and gentle movements.
Take a deep breath in and out and slowly when you are ready,
Open your eyes and gently stretch and move as you bring your awareness back to this room.
