Today's episode is all about the power of light.
Let there be light.
Specifically how the light in your home or workspace shapes the energy around you.
Whether it's natural or artificial,
Light can uplift,
Energize,
Or sometimes even weigh you down.
We're going to explore what kind of light supports expansion and what might be silently draining you.
Here we go.
So my question for you today sparkles is how does the lighting in your home make you feel?
Not how it looks?
How it feels?
Is it energizing?
Is it overstimulating?
Is it cozy?
Or just blah.
I worked with a client recently who was ready for a refresh and wanted her home to support her desire to make more easily connect,
Make that connection with her intuition.
Once we started the home frequency reset process,
I received a message from the angels that one room in particular would benefit from more light.
This got me thinking about the importance of light in your space and the different ways you can welcome the light.
So light carries frequency,
Right?
It interacts with your body,
Your mind,
Your energy field.
Natural light coming in from sunlight through the windows helps regulate your circadian rhythm,
It boosts serotonin,
And it supports your focus and creativity.
So if you don't have many windows near where you work,
Or you can think about lightening the curtains,
It's 1111 as I'm recording this.
So I'd say that's a good sign.
Finding things that reflect the light,
So maybe having glass or maybe something with a mirror finish,
Things that help bring that light and celebrate that light into the space.
Harsh overhead lights,
Especially cool toned or flickering ones can create a sense of pressure,
Increased anxiety or fatigue.
So then you want to think about how you can invite that light maybe with lamps,
Whether it's a tall lamp in the corner or a desk lamp or some like a salt lamp that helps with that mood.
If you you know,
If you think about,
I was thinking that example of lava lamps,
Right?
And how that really they're really a vibe,
Right?
But it gives you that sense of how the lighting choice can really change the mood or change the vibe.
So what we want to do is really make sure that your space is supporting your intention with the space.
Are you there to work?
Are you there to focus?
Are you there to be cozy and relax?
Is it your sleeping space?
You know,
What is your intention for the space?
And how can that lighting really support the energy and what you are creating in that space.
So even where the light sometimes is placed can matter.
So light coming from above can feel authoritative,
Or a light in your eye level can feel soft and safe.
So you might want to also think about not just adding more lamps,
But where you're putting them and how they help you.
You don't have to gut your house,
Right?
This is never about big change.
I'm all for small changes that make big impact.
So maybe you open the blinds earlier,
You welcome in that sunshine in the morning,
Maybe you add that salt lamp for a little mood,
Or you swap out a bulb and you go for one that's full spectrum,
Or you know,
There are ones that are kind of a bluer,
Whiter,
Yellow light,
White light,
You get the idea.
Light is one of the fastest ways to shift the energy of the space.
And again,
Think about mood and intention,
How you use it,
How you want to feel creating that lighting in the environment that will help support your intention for the space.
If you're inviting more light,
You might think also about lighter color paint on the walls,
We talked about lighter curtains,
Glass or mirrored tabletop that reflect light.
I love lamps.
Oh,
I put a note that I create that I keep one sentimental ceramic Christmas tree lamp out all year,
Because it's such a positive energetic anchor for me.
Each time I use it,
I feel loved.
I smile at all the colors.
I love the low light and the festive colors that it gives out in the evening or the early morning keeps me company.
So that's a fun one for me.

Tone and placement of light affect your mood,
Clarity and even your physical health.
You can shift how you feel by changing how your space is lit intentionally and intuitively.

Assess the light in one space you use every day.
Ask yourself,
Is this supporting how I want to feel?
And if the answer is no,
Try one simple shift,
Open the window,
Change a light bulb,
Move a lamp,
You might be amazed at how much a difference a small change like that can make.
