
Energy Protection
This meditation is a grounding and protective energy practice that helps balance the mind, body, and spirit. It begins with gentle breath awareness and observation of subtle differences in the inhale and exhale, followed by alternate nostril breathing to calm the nervous system. You are guided to awaken and stabilize the root chakra with deep, grounding roots, connect the crown chakra to source light, and create a flow of energy through the body. Three protective bubbles—blue for safety, gold for clarity, and pink for unconditional love—are visualized around the energetic field to seal in light and security. The session closes by sending love from the heart chakra to both others and yourself, leaving you feeling calm, grounded, and energetically protected.

So I kind of want to start with with our eyes closed and then beginning to tune a little bit more inward into our bodies.
I want you to take this opportunity to fidget,
To move,
To really just settle in to the position that you have chose.
So make sure that you are so comfortable.
Move any clothing out of the way that might not feel perfectly placed.
You need to do a little stretching right before so you can settle fully in.
So really just take this time.
Do not feel like you need to rush.
And then after you have started to settle a bit,
Again,
Please don't rush if you're not fully there.
I'm just going to continue to talk to do what you need to do.
Let's start to bring our attention into our breath.
So let's just use that very simple practice of tuning in to exactly how we're breathing this evening.
And so when you first begin to start to notice your breath,
Maybe the first thing you might begin to notice is how long it is.
So when you take that inhale,
How far does it travel down the torso?
And then where is that place within the body where it switches from inhale to exhale?
And then even exploring the breath a little bit further,
Do you notice if the right side fills up more than the left side?
For a lot of us,
This is true.
One side seems to and maybe you can feel it in your chest or your belly.
But just notice there might be a slight difference when that breath starts to inflate the body.
When you really explore it as if you have never explored it before,
You start to notice some subtle differences.
And as you are staying with your breath,
At any moment your body feels like it needs to move or shift.
Don't hold it back.
Give yourself permission to do anything that feels like your body is calling it to do.
Now specifically beginning to notice the breath within the nostrils.
So noticing the two even flows that flow between the right and the left side.
And then adding on to this flow,
We're going to begin to work with our alternate nostril breathing.
And we're not going to use our hands.
We're just going to flow from side to side.
Beginning with the left side,
Beginning to inhale through the left nostril.
And then when you exhale,
You will exhale out the right.
And then inhaling through the right.
And then exhaling out the left.
So continuing with this pattern of inhaling,
Exhaling from one side to the next and then back again.
Noticing if you feel any subtle changes within the physical body.
Even noticing if the mind may be starting to settle a bit.
This is not the time to analyze,
Associate meanings.
If you feel like you start going down a path of thinking too far,
Reel yourself back into the breath.
And then I want you to go through one more time,
Wherever you are,
And we're going to end with an exhale on the left side.
The left side is more of the calming inside of our body.
Now slowly starting to direct your attention down to your root chakra.
It's located where your perineum is in your physical body at the base of the spine.
Your root chakra is a sphere.
And half of it is inside the body and half is outside of the body.
So right around the perineum area.
The color is red.
Now I want you to really start to explore your root chakra.
Choosing the red color that matches for you this evening.
This is not for us to overthink,
You can just pick a color.
The first one that comes to mind.
And the word chakra translates to wheel.
So to start to awaken this wheel,
I want you to begin to imagine as if you are turning it and getting it started.
So maybe perhaps lately that wheel has been stuck or not moving at a pace that works for you.
And so see your beautiful red sphere beginning to spin.
And you get to choose the piece that works the best for your physical and energetic body.
And as your sphere is spinning,
Maybe perhaps the color of the red changes.
Maybe it becomes brighter.
Maybe it radiates.
Maybe it becomes larger.
Going with whatever you might see.
If you don't know,
Just stick with what you do now.
Just see the sphere spinning.
Knowing that your root chakra is awakened,
Nourished.
Knowing that you are safe,
Secure,
Steady,
Stable.
And now let's really start to ensure that our bodies start to settle even more.
So from this ruby red sphere that you have created,
Beginning to imagine roots growing on this area.
And maybe perhaps for you,
You need many roots.
Maybe just one large root right from the center of that root sphere.
That root chakra will grow.
So whatever you think you might need.
These roots are the exact same color as your chakra.
And they're beginning to lower down through the surface where you are seated or lying down.
They're moving through the foundation of your home.
They're lowering down into here.
And knowing that as far as your roots go,
They become stronger,
Thicker,
More stable.
Really locking you into here.
The roots plant deeply down into the earth.
Creating this beautiful foundation for yourself.
And now starting to direct our attention up to the top of our head,
Our crown chakra.
Imagine as if this is an eye.
And so the eyelid begins to open up with the crown of your head.
Shining out a beautiful white color or maybe a champagne sparkly color.
Whatever color resonates with you.
And as the space begins to open at the very top of your head,
That colorful light that you have chose begins to channel up.
And it travels up to a higher source,
Your source light.
We don't need to define what the source is.
But of course,
If something is calling to you,
You can always tap that light into that source.
For you.
Allowing that shining light to travel from the top of your head up into the source.
Knowing that this channel is free of any debris or fragments.
And it is shining bright with that color that you have chose.
On your next inhale,
Travel down to the bottom of your roots.
And then begin to inhale that energy up from the earth into your body all the way up into that source light.
And as you exhale,
The light from the source travels down through that beautiful bright channel down into your body,
Down into the earth.
So beginning to stay with this imagery,
Inhaling from the tips of your roots,
Through the body,
To your source.
And exhaling from that source all the way back down through the body.
And through the roots.
Knowing that you are removing anything from the body that is not serving you.
Filling up that entire channel throughout the entire body.
Allowing the rest of the chakras to begin to brighten.
Realigning yourself.
Removing anything that is not helping you to be your true self right now.
And then gently allowing,
When you feel ready,
To practice,
To start to think.
And knowing that your entire body is illuminated from this light and grounded energy.
Knowing that you are safe and secure.
And open to any wisdom or answers that might need to come to you during this time.
And now with that light still continuing from the crown of your head,
See the light from your source traveling all the way down.
And it's going to stop about two feet above your head.
We're going to begin to make a bubble around you.
We will make three bubbles.
The first one,
It starts at the top of your head.
It is a beautiful blue light.
It will start to travel down through either your right or left.
You get to choose where you want the bubble to go.
It eventually travels down underneath of you,
Still all about two feet around you.
And then traveling back up the other side.
And then connecting back up to the top.
This blue bubble keeps you protected.
Only light is allowed in your energetic field.
And then moving just above that bubble that we created.
Now doing the same exact thing with a golden light.
You can go in the same direction.
If it calls you to do so,
You can switch it up.
You can either start from the top and have both sides go down.
Just go with what feels most intuitive to you.
And this golden light symbolizes and provides us with definitive answers.
And then for the final one,
Moving back up and now above the golden one.
And this will be a pink bubble.
And this pink bubble is for unconditional love.
Allowing that to seal you in.
Your physical and energetic body now shines within these bubbles.
You are protected.
You're more of a definitive place than surrounded by unconditional love.
And knowing that you can always,
Throughout any time of your day,
Reinforce these bubbles or do them a couple times if you feel off.
And now starting to bring our awareness back into the physical body.
What do you notice now?
This can also incorporate the breath if that's where you would like to go.
Are you also able to maybe see the energetic body or colors?
And if you don't know,
Then just stick with the physical aspect of what you know.
Noticing if there were any shifts when we first began the meditation.
And as you are in the physical body,
Noticing all the points of the body that are connected to the surface below you.
Feeling the support underneath your body.
Knowing that you are supported in all aspects of your life.
And then coming back to the breath one final time.
Noticing how long it is.
Noticing the difference between the right and left side.
Noticing if there was an effect on the nervous system or the mind.
Slowly beginning to pull yourself back into the space where you're located.
Without opening your eyes.
If you are lying down,
Stacking one hand at the heart center,
The other on top.
If you are seated,
Bringing your hands into prayer in front of your heart center.
The space behind your hands is where your heart chakra is located.
This is where we can send love to other people as well as ourselves.
And so first,
I want you to tap into the space behind the hands.
And send love to someone.
It could be someone who you love very deeply.
Or someone who maybe needs some love and compassion right now.
Imagine as if from this space,
You are sending light to them.
Sending them well wishes.
Maybe even sending a specific message.
And then I want you to do the same for yourself.
So bring your attention into that heart chakra.
And with just as much purpose as you did to the other person.
Do the same for yourself.
You could send a general message,
Something you might need now.
Reinforcing yourself that you are doing a wonderful job.
Or sending a specific message.
Maybe a mantra or something you might need to hear.
Maybe work with later on.
Allowing that message from the heart chakra to radiate throughout the entire body.
Feeling it.
And from my heart chakra to each of yours.
