An Appreciative Reflection On The Past Week

The mind has a natural bias toward scanning for problems. It’s very good at spotting what went wrong, what could have been better, what we forgot, what we wish we’d said. That tendency once helped us survive. But it can mean that the good — even the quietly good — slips past unnoticed. So for a few moments, we’re going to gently redress the balance. Allow yourself to reflect on the last week. Is there something that went well? It doesn’t have to be dramatic. It might be something small. A conversation that felt steady. A task you completed. A moment of calm. Something that was simply… okay. In this way we train our minds to be 'more sticky' for the pleasant moments in our lives
