The impact of sleep deprivation
In this lesson, we will be setting your intentions to get the very best out of this course. We’ll be exploring the true impact of insufficient sleep and how it affects every single organ of your body. We’ll recap on what happens when we do sleep well and what happens when we don’t sleep well.
Lektion 2
How many hours do you need?
In this lesson, you’ll learn about the quantity of sleep you really do need and in particular where sleep fits into your wellbeing as a whole. We’ll also be looking at how Ayurveda views sleep and where it fits into Ayurvedic wellbeing science.

What are sleep cycles and why are they important?
In this lesson I’ll be taking your through the various sleep cycles and explain why they’re important, and how much you need of each of the sleep cycles. We’re also going to take a look at the two principle sleep hormones and how they work and how you can keep them in balance.
Lektion 4
How to balance your inner body clock (circadian rhythms).
In this lesson, you’ll learn four very simple steps to help reset your inner body clock. You’ll see that if you want to sleep well, you have to respect your natural cycles and the way nature made you. We’ll also look at how your digestion is governed by your circadian rhythm and help your body helps you to stay balanced.

How sleep deprivation affects the way you look
In this lesson, we’ll look at how sleep deprivation can cause premature aging and how it affects the hormones related to eating. You’ll learn how important it is to take the time to recover when you’re exhausted and how to manage the unconscious tension that accumulates in your body associated with tiredness.

Resilience and the sleep connection
In this lesson, I’m going to explain why you need to build resilience for good sleep and what good resilience is. You’ll also understand why, if you have very low resilience to stress, you’ll likely not be sleeping very well. I’ll also be explaining why using the breath is such a great tool to manage the nervous system.

Building resilience and lightness using breath
In this lesson you’re going to learn about the conversation the breath is trying to have with you and how connecting to the breath is like connecting to spirit. You’ll also learn how important it is to be connected to spirit and your inner guid in order to be well and sleep well.

Moving the awareness and observing breath
In this lesson I’m going to guide you to do a simple breath meditation specifically designed to help you understand that wherever your awareness is, is where the breath goes and what the implications are.

Simple Belly Breathing for nervous system resilience
In this lesson, we are going to learn about the power of belly breathing. This practice is guided in a compassionate and soft way that anyone can follow.
