Today, we explore the first agreement: Be Impeccable with Your Word. As creators, our words hold immense power – the words we use to describe our work to others, but perhaps even more importantly, the words we speak to ourselves about our abilities and our creations.

Don't Take Anything Personally

This is a crucial agreement for artists, as we often face feedback, critique, and sometimes even harsh judgments As artists, we pour a part of ourselves into our creations. It's natural to feel a sense of vulnerability when sharing our work with the world. However, taking criticism personally can lead to unnecessary suffering, hinder our growth, and stifle our creative voice.

Don't Make Assumptions

Today, we explore the third agreement: Don't Make Assumptions. As creators, we often encounter uncertainty and the unknown, which can lead us to make assumptions that may hinder our creative process.

Always Do Your Best

Always Do Your Best. This agreement is not just about living value-driven, but about self-compassion, releasing the pressure of perfectionism, and finding joy in the creative process itself. The pursuit of perfection can sometimes lead to self-criticism, frustration, and a diminished sense of joy in our work.
