
The Waterfall
Have you ever wanted to change your limiting beliefs? In this soothing guided visualisation, you will be guided to visualise a beautiful, natural waterfall setting, showing you how to move through this process of shifting your mindset for the better, one breath at a time.

Welcome to the waterfall meditation.
Take a moment to get comfortable either sitting up or lying down.
And let's take a deep breath together and just let everything fall away.
As you close your eyes while you're sitting or lying down,
Imagine a pool of water.
And this pool of water is in a forest.
It's covered by a canopy of leaves and trees and plants and there's birds flitting overhead.
And you can see and feel the energy of these living things.
And the water,
The waterfall is above you.
The pool is you.
And the waterfall as it flows into the pool,
Into you,
Is the energy of the universe.
Imagine that you're an open container,
That you allow this flowing in.
It is so effortless and so real and it cleanses you from the inside out.
It renews you and you almost feel reborn as the water from the waterfall flows through you.
And as you exhale,
Everything that doesn't serve you is released.
All the darkness,
All the limiting beliefs and stories flow out every time you exhale.
And you begin to see an image as you look in the pool of water.
And that image has your face.
But as you look closer,
The image shimmers and moves and has no real substance,
But it still has a deep energy.
And you know instantly that the energy you see reflected back to you is the same energy that you receive from the waterfall flowing through you.
And because of this,
You are connected.
You can see life from your beingness.
You can hear life from your beingness.
You can understand other people and give them grace.
Forgive them because they may not be able to see and they don't know what you know.
That you are always connected to this bigger source and you are always,
Always,
Deeply loved.
And so as you sit with your pool of water and as you see the waterfall come over the cliff and into your pool,
You notice there's one part of the waterfall that seems a little constricted.
And so in your mind's eye you fly up to the top and you see that there's a log that has lodged itself across the river that becomes the waterfall.
And as you look at that log,
As you see it,
You know that the log is there to teach you a lesson.
It may be a painful memory.
It may be a harmful thing that you did to someone else.
It may just be a belief that you need to let go.
Whatever it is,
You created it and you know that you can also release it.
Because your overall goal,
Your overall empowering belief,
Is to receive as much of the universal flow as you can.
So now as you hover over this log,
You take a deep breath in and you smile because the limiting belief or pain taught you a lesson.
It showed you a place where you need to heal.
It showed you a place where you needed to show compassion to yourself and also to others.
Because no matter what you have done and no matter what someone else has done to you,
No one can take away your connection with the universal flow.
No one can destroy that.
You always have it there.
It is always available to you.
So now it's time to release the log,
The limiting belief,
And you get closer to it and you touch it.
And although it looks solid,
As soon as you touch it,
Your hand goes right through it.
And as your hand goes through it,
You realize that it was all just a story.
It was all an illusion that you created for a reason.
But because you created that,
Doesn't mean you have to hold on to it.
That reason you created it is no longer valid.
And so you know it's time to let that go.
You take another deep breath and on your exhale you gently push the log over the edge.
And it teeters there.
It balances there on the.
.
.
It's part of it in the air and part of it still in the water until you take another cleansing breath and on your exhale you release it from you.
As you release it,
The log pirouettes end over end as it falls down and as it finally reaches the pool of water,
Your pool,
You see it dissolve and it becomes part of you again.
You've accepted that shadow part of you.
There's no reason to avoid it.
There's no reason to avoid the pain.
Even if you come across the pain again,
It's merely just a ripple.
You've let go of that pain that you've avoided for so long.
Because now you are healed of it.
And it's just like a distant memory.
Something you know happened to you but it no longer controls you.
So as you fly back down to the pool again,
You decide that you want to see if there's any messages for you.
And you take a deep breath and you put your face into the water and you look with your eyes open as you exhale.
And bubbles come out of your mouth but they don't block your vision.
And what you see on the bottom of the pool is what you carry with you into the day after our time together is gone.
And what you see are the letters love.
And you know that word.
You've lived that word.
You've been taught that word.
But now you know that you are that word.
You are love.
And as you pull your face out of the water,
You see everything with a new perspective.
And gratitude and joy bubble up from your heart.
And your energy is so light.
Your energy is light.
And you see your energy inside and part of all the living things around you.
It shimmers in the waves of the water,
In the water itself.
It glistens in the droplets of the water fall as it comes down from the cliff.
Even the rocks hold your energy.
And you smile because you know that you have found your connection.
You know that you are here for a reason.
And you know that it's always available to you.
And it's always there for you to tap into when you need it.
So as you take another deep breath and let it go,
You know that you are love.
And you know that you are loved and adored.
And any sense of unworthiness,
Any limiting beliefs about your value or your ability to contribute are gone.
They've passed by like clouds in the sky.
And it's time.
It's time for you to step into your life.
It's time for you to be who you are as this love energy takes over.
The time is now.
The time is right.
It's time for you.
Take a deep breath and when you're ready open your eyes and remember the feeling you had as you passed through this meditation.
Because you can keep this feeling with you no matter what is presented in your experience.
You can tap into this expression of yourself as love.
As you remind yourself when you breathe in to say I allow and when you breathe out you say I surrender or I release.
So do that now.
Breathe in.
I allow and breathe out.
I release.
And if you feel your body tense or you become a bit anxious about anything,
Do this breathing technique.
And the more you train yourself to fall into yourself,
The happier your life will be.
And you will learn that it's all a dance.
It's all a folding and unfolding between the seen and the unseen.
And you are the universal dance partner.
The universe wants to dance with you.
So please step into that.
Accept that invitation and live your best life in every moment.
