Welcome to your Tapping for Joy meditation.

Tapping or EFT,

Emotional Freedom Technique,

Is a practice of calming the nervous system and allowing the body to receive what you choose.

Today we'll be Tapping for Joy to create and actually wake up the joy within you.

Joy,

Love,

Peace lives within you.

So we're going to calm the nervous system as we tap on pressure points to wake up the nervous system and wake up more joy that's within you.

So let's get started.

Find a comfortable place to sit where you won't be disturbed,

Where you can sit in ease and feel,

Allow yourself to feel the joy that will begin to be activated from within your core.

Settle into your seat,

Taking a deep breath,

Exhale.

Again,

Inhale as the shoulders drop,

The heart opens,

Your eyes may gently close,

Exhale.

One more,

Inhale,

Visualizing what joy could feel like for you.

Inhale a little bit more,

Expand the belly,

And exhale.

First I'll take you through a round of just the pressure points so you know where you're tapping,

You know what pressure points will calm the nervous system and activate joy within you.

So we begin first on the karate chop side of the hand or the pinky side of the hand and begin to tap on the side of the hand with the tips of our fingers of the other hand.

And as we tap,

We will be repeating three times.

I choose joy today.

I choose joy today.

Breath in,

Breath out.

I choose joy today.

Breath in,

Keep tapping,

Inhale,

Exhale.

And one more time,

I choose joy today.

Bring the tips of your fingers,

Both hands or one hand,

And we begin tapping on the inside of the eyebrow.

Using your fingers to tap gently,

But tap enough to as if you're waking up your body,

Waking up every cell,

Activating your nervous system.

And begin tapping on the outside of your eyebrows,

The temples,

And now the cheekbones under the eye,

Under your nose,

Above your top lip,

At the chin crease,

Below your lower lip,

Taking both hands and tapping on your collarbones on each side.

And now making fists and tapping right under the armpits.

For women,

It's the bra line.

It's at the upper rib cage on the side of the body.

And top of the head with both hands again,

Or just one,

Tapping the top of the head,

The crown,

Opening up the crown,

Allowing your energy to open up.

Good.

Inhale,

Release the hands.

Exhale.

Now let's begin adding our mantras.

Mantras are powerful,

Positive words that will help activate and wake up that source within you,

The source of joy,

Creativity,

Appreciation.

So let's begin,

Karate chop side of the hand,

Tapping consistently as we speak these words.

And just repeat after me,

Today I choose joy.

Today I choose joy.

Today I choose joy.

Bringing the fingertips to the inside of the eyebrows.

Today I feel joy outside of the eyebrows.

Joy is my choice.

Cheekbones,

The smile on my lips is my choice for joy.

Under the nose,

I open up to feeling so good today.

Chin crease,

I feel amazing.

Collarbones tapping.

Today I am right where I need to be.

Fist under the armpits,

I am right where I choose to be.

Top of the head,

Tapping.

Today is an amazing day.

Inner eyebrow,

I love and accept myself.

Temples,

I appreciate my life.

Cheekbones,

Today is a great day.

Under the nose,

My breath fills my body.

Chin,

Every cell in my body is awakened and more joy is pulsing through my veins.

Collarbones,

I am who I choose to be.

I love and accept myself.

Under the armpits,

I feel amazing.

My body is healthy.

I am vibrant.

Top of the head,

I love my life.

Inner eyebrow today feels so good.

Temples,

In this moment I appreciate everything about me.

Cheekbones,

I appreciate my smile.

Under the nose,

I bask in the joy of my presence.

Chin,

I savor the moment of my moment by moment by moment thinking and feeling.

Collarbones,

I feel so good.

Under the arms,

Today I choose joy and I feel my body pulsing with joy.

Every molecule,

Every atom in my body is feeling joy.

Top of the head,

Joy is permeating and resonating throughout my entire system.

Inhale,

Reach the arms all the way up towards the sky.

Reach.

Inhale,

Inhale a little bit more,

Sip in more air.

Exhale,

Float the hands down nice and gentle.

Eyes are closed.

Be in this moment.

Feel your peace.

Feel your joy.

Take this moment to just notice the vibration in your body as if you just need to move because you feel this joy.

You created this vibration of joy and you're excited to live it.

You have a smile on your face.

You're ready to go live your day fully expressing who you are from love,

From peace,

And from the light within.

You shine so bright for all to see.

Take a beautiful breath in.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Stretch the lungs.

Sip in more air.

Hold.

Exhale.

One more time.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

And gently open your eyes.

Let the love,

The peace,

And the light within you shine bright for all to see.
