Mindfulness practices designed to enrich your life.
This is the Being Present practice with David Mercado.
Day 5 Money in my life If you want to feel rich,
Just count the things you have that money can't buy.
Famous proverb.
How's your relationship with money?
Relaxed?
Restrictive?
Frustrated?
Fun?
Secure?
Insecure?
Money is connected to our emotional states,
And having or not having money sometimes depends on our appreciation for what money is.
Do you pay your bills,
Groceries,
And basic expense with ease?
The question is really,
What is money for you?
If your mind is focused on scarcity,
You will never have enough money.
If your mind is focused on abundance,
You will be grateful for everything around you.
You will not worry about it and you will feel free.
If you have a mindset that trusts in life,
Money will come.
Most of our mindsets about money come from our family.
The way money was handled when we were young impacts on the way one feels about money.
But we can change that if we learn how to be grateful.
Appreciating when we spend money is a great way to send positive energy for that money that circulates back to you.
We live in ever-flowing systems that are constantly circulating.
If the flow stops due to worries,
Shock,
Or being scared,
This impacts on the flow we receive from it.
If you trust that whatever money you spend,
It will come back to you,
It will definitely return to you.
The law of attraction says that like attracts like.
So if you feel disappointed that you don't have enough money,
You will receive more disappointing circumstances of not having enough money.
When you are grateful for money,
You not only stop the negative thoughts and feelings that keep money away from you,
But you are doing what will bring you more money.
Practice number 5,
Money in my life.
Number 1,
Make a list of 5 things you appreciate.
Write a reason why you are grateful.
Number 2,
Now make a list of things you buy that make you feel good and appreciate this by saying thank you for the things I am able to buy what I need.
Number 3,
Look at your list and re-read each item again,
And after each item say thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you,
With intense emotion.
Number 4,
When you have to make a payment,
Buy groceries,
Pay for gas,
Electricity,
Water,
Or any expense that is important for you,
Say thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you for the money I have to pay my bills.
Every time you hand money for a payment,
Stop,
Be present and say thank you for the money I have to pay for this service.
Be well,
Be safe,
And be grateful.
