Welcome to our emotional release meditation.
We know things seem to be unsettled in the world,
And the one thing that might be affecting you is uncertainty,
Or perhaps anxiety or stress.
We might not be able to control what is outside us,
But we certainly look inside ourselves and find a way to make us feel more present,
More certain of who we are.
Take some time to listen to this meditation and find a comfortable place.
You can have your eyes open,
Or if you prefer you can close your eyes.
Let's be mindful.
Concentrate as you're breathing.
Listen to your breathing as you breathe in,
And then breathe out.
Breathe in,
And breathe out.
Breathe in,
And breathe out.
Feel how the air fills your lungs and stomach.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
You can touch your belly or chest to concentrate in these areas.
Let's do it for a few more times.

By focusing in your breath,
You focus in life.
By breathing in and out,
We can experience the most incredible gift we have,
Which is being alive,
Being able to experience her presence by just breathing.
We will be acknowledging feelings we have.
Observe them and let them go.
First of all,
It is okay to feel unsettled,
Not to be okay.
It is okay not to be okay.
So embrace being human and be kind to yourself.
Now,
Let's choose an unsettling feeling you might be having so we can work with it.
Take a few moments to identify the feeling.
Can you give it a name?
Can you localize where in your body the feeling is communicating with you?
Take a few moments here.
If you know where this is,
Or you have an idea of where it can be,
Bring one or both hands to the area.
Now,
Ask the feeling if there is a message for you.
Take a few moments and keep on breathing in,
Breathing out.
If you know what the feeling is or what the message is saying,
Stay with it.
And now you can say in your head or aloud,
I am alive,
Therefore I am present.
I am aware of this feeling or message,
And I welcome you feeling into my awareness.
I honor what you're trying to tell me.
I thank you for bringing the message to my attention.
And now,
I set you free.
I know you are there.
I know you are there.
And I can continue living my life alongside you,
By letting me observe you in the present moment.

Every second of the day,
We have the opportunity to feel present,
To decide the life we want to live and what feelings we choose to have.
Let's release any stress you might still have.
You can breathe in and release it by breathing out.
Breathing in and breathe out any stress.
I have listened to you.
I have released you.
I am at peace with you and myself.
Now bring your awareness back to your body and start feeling your body again.
You can come back to this meditation every time you need to acknowledge and support an unsettling feeling you might have.
