Mindfulness practices designed to enrich your life.

This is the Being Present practice with David Mercado.

Yesterday is history,

Tomorrow is a mystery,

Today is a gift,

That's why it's called the present.

Hello,

We are very excited to start our practice today.

We are committed to 21 days listening to various topics that will help bring more presence into our lives through actions such as gratitude,

Appreciation and compassion.

The way it works is that every day from tomorrow you should listen to the next episode of the Being Present practice podcast.

The Being Present practice is complete when you have finished episode 21.

This is a mindfulness practice and our objective is to become more present appreciating the positive things that we have got.

All rules are in the show notes,

However our recommendations are.

Number one,

Find a fixed time during the day where you can do this every day.

Five to ten minutes will be enough to listen to the recordings and to do the exercises.

Number two,

The practice is based on committing to do it every day for the length of the practice.

However in the end you can always go back to the days that are more interesting for you.

Number three,

You might feel that a particular day might be too hard or might not make sense.

Keep on going as it is probably your defense mechanism trying to stay in the same state as you are not wanting to change.

Number four,

If you find the exercise hard to do try another time in the day for that particular practice.

Some exercises could be easier than others,

However please stick to the writing exercise.

You will be surprised by how many more things you can be positive about without knowing.

Be well,

Be safe and be grateful.
