Through the seasons, the tides, the sun, and the moon, we are guided through our journey on earth. We are in rhythm with the cosmos with each breath that we take and the Sanskrit word for this rhythm is Ritam, (pronounced rih-taam). Ritam essentially means I’m alert. I’m awake to the rhythms of life. I dance with the cosmic dance. I flow with the cosmic rhythms. Imagine that each pulse, each breath the universe takes is expressed through you.

Hello,

This is davidji and welcome to the daily insight.

Let's find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Let's gently feather our nest.

Once you're comfortable,

Together let's take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And gently let that go.

Let's do that one more time together.

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And gently release it.

And remember comfort is queen,

So feel free to adjust yourself.

Keep moving towards comfort and keep watching your breath.

Keep witnessing.

Keep observing.

Let's explore the concept of attention.

And right now your attention is on the breath as it flows down into you.

And as it flows back out.

And just watch.

Simply witness.

And notice that your mind is calming.

Notice that your body is relaxing.

And keep witnessing.

Until the breath go way down deep into you.

And feel it fully release as it leaves you.

There's nowhere else to be.

There's nothing else to do.

Except to be right here,

Right now,

In this sacred,

Precious,

Present moment.

And let's silently witness as we receive,

As we accept,

As we allow.

And then as we release,

As we surrender,

And as we let go.

Your body,

Your mind,

Your world is in constant thank you.

Dynamic exchange.

Receiving,

Accepting,

Allowing thoughts,

Sounds,

And physical sensations into you.

And then releasing them.

Surrendering them back out.

Letting go.

Everything we take in,

Everything we absorb comes into us,

Merges with us,

And then flows back out.

And this is known in the ancient Sanskrit teachings as ritam,

The rhythm of life.

So let's just witness the rhythm of our body,

The rhythm of our breath,

The rhythm of your heartbeat.

Right now,

Just witness existence.

And let's make today all about witnessing,

Accepting,

Receiving,

Allowing,

And then releasing,

Surrendering,

And letting go.

As you flow through the world today,

Allow everything to come into you.

Don't resist.

And then allow it to flow back out.

And to remind yourself,

You simply need to witness your breath.

And remember that you are a conduit of energy.

As you move throughout the day,

Simply keep the rhythm going.

And have an amazing day.

I have nowhere else to be but this moment. My breathe is proof of that - the necessity of my body to take in each breath to survive and fill itself with serenity through our senses and oneness with the world around us. We receive and then release what was borrowed from the world and given to us by our Higher Power (the physical world is here to serve us if we connect with it and treat it well) - almost like a conduit of natural forces and energies! Thank you for being the conduit through which I received incredibly life changing insight and moment of presence!
