Hello,
Beautiful humans.
My name is Darius,
And here is an idea that might just help you if you are feeling overwhelmed or intimidated by the notion of sharing your creativity with the world.
Okay,
Here it is.
It's really simple.
Creativity is not content.
Creativity is not content.
It's easy to forget that.
It's easy to forget.
Create content for these gigantic tech companies and pretend like that is our purpose.
We are here to give them content.
We are not.
Creativity is your birthright.
Creativity is,
In my opinion,
The reason our souls have come to this planet.
To experience,
To explore,
To create.
And we forgot because we are so zoomed in to this very moment in history.
In human history and we have forgot that for millions of years our ancestors have been storytellers,
Have danced,
Have sang,
Have created incredible things and none of that had anything to do with an app on your phone.
So I'm not saying don't share your creativity with those apps,
But don't go in.
With the initial intention that you are a content creator.
You are so much more than that.
You are so much more than that.
And if somehow some way.
All of that noise,
All of that fast paced.
Creative.
Content.
Experience.
Has.
Gotten you to forget that you.
.
.
Are inherently creative.
Let me remind you.
That that story you might be telling yourself that you are not creative that you don't have time to be creative that your best creative days are behind you.
Is just a creation.
That is a creation you've been telling yourself.
And if you don't like that story.
.
.
Stop writing the same thing in your journal every day.
That's what it feels like.
Every day you're writing the same page.
The same page.
I don't have time to create.
I am not creative.
My best creative days are behind me.
That's a story.
Tell better stories.
You are here to create.
It doesn't need to be a painting,
A picture,
A song.
It could be literally anything.
This outfit,
An act of creation.
The omelette I had for breakfast,
Creation.
Creation is everywhere,
So the question isn't.
.
.
Whether you are creative or not.
The real juicy question is.
.
.
What are you going to create with the time you have left?
Thanks for watching.
My name's Darius.
I'll see you next time.
Bye.
