Good morning and welcome to the artist morning.
My name is Darius and I am so grateful that you and I get this time together.
Today's practice is going to be a bit different.
We're going to go on a little journey together.
And my intention is to invite you into waking up your soul to remembering who you are and where you really came from.
Now this intention won't be possible without an openness,
A playfulness and a curiosity on your side.
We're going to get almost a little silly and potentially a little sacred too.
Now I've said a lot and maybe you are interested in such a journey and maybe you're not.
You choose how open you feel today and remember you can always come back to this meditation at a different time.
Let's start our practice by opening our eyes and begin to look around your space.
Notice colors,
Textures,
Notice sounds.
Now this space might be incredibly familiar to you.
You might be thinking to yourself,
This is my space,
This is my room,
This is my office,
This is my chair.
What if it wasn't?
What if none of this was actually yours?
This is the part where we're going to require some playfulness and some curiosity and some wonder.
We're going to see if you can access the energy of a lucid dream.
A lucid dream is a moment in the dream world where you slightly wake up and you are able to realize this is a dream and it's your dream and you can do whatever you want in this dream.
And this curious,
Playful smile starts to build on your face,
On your heart.
You start to imagine what could be possible.
Start to look around in wonder,
In curiosity.
I want to plant an idea in your awareness now.
What if I'm not from here?
What if I'm not from here?
What if I'm not from here,
This world,
This space,
This planet?
And see if you can plant that seed in your consciousness,
Even 1%.
What if we were not from here?
What if our souls chose to come here,
In this planet,
In this specific body,
In this specific time?
Take a moment with your eyes open,
With your eyes closed.
You decide,
Looking around,
Feeling around at the beauty of this planet,
The colors,
The shapes,
The memories,
The dreams,
The relationships,
The hopes,
The fears.
Wow,
What an incredible planet.
I'm not from here.
I'm from somewhere else.
I'm not from here.
I'm from somewhere else.
Can you remember who you really are?
Can you tap into your infinite and eternal soul?
You,
Dear artist,
Are not from here.
You are from somewhere else.
Let's take a nice deep breath here.
And if your eyes are open,
Let's close them now.
Going inwards.
And if you'd like to reject this idea,
That's okay.
You are safe to reject this idea.
And if in this moment,
You'd like to go a little deeper into this possibility that you are not from here,
You are from somewhere else,
And you get to spend some time here in this incredible,
Beautiful,
Adventurous planet.
Even if you can be open to the possibility 1%,
This practice can open up many doors and many activations.
What did your face look like before your parents were born?
It's an impossible question.
Don't overthink it.
Take it for a little spin and see what you learn.
What did your face look like before your parents were born?
Can you remember?
Can you remember who you really are?
Maybe there are visuals.
Maybe there are colors.
Maybe there are feelings or sounds.
Maybe it's an entirely blank canvas.
Don't force it.
Stay open,
Stay playful.
Is there anything you can remember about your soul?
I'm not from here.
You're not from here.
We are not from here,
This beautiful,
Incredible,
Sometimes overwhelming,
Sometimes joy-filled planet.
It's a belief I hold.
It's a belief maybe you don't care for.
Maybe it makes no sense.
Maybe you reject this belief.
That's okay.
And maybe,
Just maybe,
Deep inside your heart,
You can feel the truth of that statement,
That we are not from here.
This is a gift,
This human experience.
Our souls chose to come here,
Now,
And these humans,
So that we can explore,
We could experience,
And so that we can express something our soul wants to express in the universe.
Can you remember?
Can you remember who you really are?
Can you remember and feel your eternal,
Infinite soul?
Bravo,
Dear artist,
Bravo,
Fellow cosmic space traveler,
You made it to the end of this meditation and for that I am so grateful.
Let's officially close our practice by taking a deep breath together,
Breathing in,
And letting it go.
I'm so grateful that we get these experimental meditations.
I know they're not for everyone and I also believe there's many of you out there that will appreciate something a little different.
For those that are joining us live at the artist morning,
I'm going to put 20 minutes on the clock and invite us to do some private personal journaling.
I will share a journaling prompt and of course,
If you're catching us on a replay,
Perhaps on insight timer,
You can do the same.
Let's keep exploring,
Let's keep experiencing,
Let's keep expressing.
Thank you.
Once again,
My name is Darius and I will see you next time.
